The NCS1 warning system will monitor the temperature of your vehicle’s engine and notify the driver with an audible and visual alarm when the engine temperature is out of specification.
The driver will be warned before the increased temperature reaches a level where the vehicle’s engine can be damaged.
Depending on the vehicle make and model, this can happen before the standard heat gauge of the vehicle indicate a problem, and with the audible alarm, the driver do not need to check the standard heat gauge continuously.
The NCS1 monitor the engine temperature real time, and the temperature at which the alarm will be triggered, can be programmed to suit any vehicle. The functionality of the device will not be affected by the coolant level in the coolant system of the engine.
The control unit and driver interface, which contain the alarms, will be installed in the cabin of your vehicle.
The device only requires a 12vDC power supply from the vehicles battery, and does not depend on-, or splice into any existing wiring or systems fitted to your vehicle.
This is a modular system.
The control unit can be used as a stand-alone device with only the audible alarm. The driver interface, which contains the visual alarm, can be added and give the added function of a port through which the system can be accessed with a translator-unit and windows based software. This will enable the vehicle owner to check the maximum temperature reached, and the time and date of the occurrence.
