Warren Siebrits started his art career working at Sotheby’s, Johannesburg in 1988. and since 1995 he has worked as an art adviser for numerous Corporate and Government clients.
Warren Siebrits Modern and Contemporary Art was formally opened in August 2002. Since then the gallery has held many important solo and group exhibitions.
The gallery deals predominantly in works by Black Pioneers of South African Art - Gerard Sekoto, George Pemba, John Mohl, Gladys Mgundlandlu and the Rorke’s Drift School to name a few. The gallery also represents four contemporary South African artists – Jo Ractliffe, Konrad Welz, Stefanus Rademeyer and Gerhard Marx.
Lunetta Bartz has designed both the gallery interiors and most of the gallery exhibition catalogues. She has also advised on a number of corporate and private collections. Warren and Lunetta are assisted others involved with studying art.
