P&H was established in 1978 by Peter & Herbert Jonischkeit, two German men that came to South Africa in the early 70’s. The company specializes in the manufacturing of fire doors and fire protection, using a product called ROCKLITE, which was invented by its founding partners, Peter and Herbert, but the company also supply & manufacture various other types of doors and products.
The company has been dealing with some of the Construction Giants, some of their current customers include: MTN, Eskom, Grinaker, Rainbow Construction, Standard Bank and many more.
Its products, which are SABS and CSIR tested, are generally considered to be the best in terms of insulation time, stability and integrity. The products are lightweight and free of health hazards. (test certificates available on request)
