Tandem Skydiving and Nature Adventure Packages at the Kruger National Park

If you have always wanted to experience the thrill of skydiving, but don’t want to attend a full course, consider tandem skydives. We offer a range of Wild Jump skydiving packages where you will do a tandem dive strapped to an instructor.

The dives are performed near Malelane and followed by a variety of adventures ranging from elephant interaction and rides to 4×4 game drives, bush braai, golf or bush walks. We thus offer you the opportunity to combine a nature adventure with the adrenalin rush activity of tandem skydiving. The jumps are offered in conjunction with Wild Card, giving you access to the top game reserves in the country.

Cheetah: Information on the World’s Fastest Land Animal

Now that you know the cheetah is the world’s fastest land animal, you are probably wondering how he does it? There are many interesting facts and information about the cheetah. Get ready to explore the world of this wonderful creature.

The cheetah’s coat is characterised by its tan colour with small, round black spots. Although their coats are a sure fire way to identify them in the wild, you might not be able to identify their cubs as easily. When cheetahs are born, they are a smoky-grey colour and much darker than you’d expect them to be.

Interesting info about the cheetah is that their paws are less rounded than other cats and they are unable to roar. When they are angry they will scare off their enemy by making a chirping sound while hissing and spitting.

The male and female will rarely be seen together, usually only when it is mating season. The females live alone, except when they are raising their cubs. Once the cubs are no longer dependant on her she will let them go into the wild, but they are likely to still stay together.

The life span of a cheetah will largely depend on whether it is in captivity or out in the wild. Info on the cheetah’s life span is that on average they live 10 to 12 years if they are in captivity, but only eight years when they are out in the wild.

Many people seem to think cheetahs prefer grasslands, but surprising info suggests that cheetahs like dense vegetation and mountainous areas as well. Just because it is easier to see them when they are in grasslands, people often make the mistake to think that is the kind of habitat they prefer.

There are hundreds and hundreds of interesting facts and info about cheetahs. Get to know more about the cheetah and start to see the world through his eyes.

Support A Local Cheetah Centre and Help Make A Difference

The word extinction is finite. When a species dies out it is obliterated from the planet forever. The cheetah is an endangered species and by supporting your local cheetah centre you can help make a difference in preserving this majestic animal.

The best way to help is to create awareness. By spreading the word about cheetah conservation through all channels it can inspire people to help. Visiting a local cheetah centre raises funds for cheetah research and helps with financing breeding programs.

Educate yourself and look for a cheetah centre in your area to help with conservation and awareness.
