How to look at chair ergonomics

Chair ergonomics should be considered when shopping for computer chairs. You need adequate back, arm, neck and leg support if you work at a computer workstation. Considering that there are numerous health and injury risks associated with incorrect posture while working on a computer, companies owe it to their employees and themselves to not simply buy chairs on sight, but to enquire about the chair ergonomics first. Chair ergonomics should embed adjustment features to allow for changing of chair height, arm rests, and back tilting. The chair should preferably have armrests and must be sturdy. Close attention should be paid to lumbar support and the required support to prevent posture related problems. The curve of the backrest must support the spine. The chair will be at the correct height if both feet touch the floor flat without having to stretch.
