Women’s Development Businesses focus is on offering hope to the women of South Africa and they offer microcredit to rural women in order to help them out of poverty in a sustainable manner.
Their mission is to improve the livelihoods of South African women because the economic empowerment of a woman has a far bigger impact on the family and children. Many of their clients have been able to start up their own businesses.
Women’s Development Businesses consists of three organizations – the WDB Group – the WDB Trust, WDB Micro Finance and WDB Investment Holdings – they are interdependent and integrated in working towards promoting the economic empowerment South African women.
