The National Credit Act was established to monitor and control the activities of credit providers and protect the rights of consumers. The Act also provides debtors with a convenient means to repay their debt in the form of credit card consolidation. Although it does not use conventional means of debt consolidation, the debt review process gives debtors all the benefits of consolidation.
