  3. I would like to aggree with all of you, I recentlly phoned a couple of their stores and they treat you like *&^%^ over the phone, and their products looks second hand to me as well. Who will buy a bed that is dirty? Or a Hi-Fi that has been playing in the store for day’s? SECOND HAND! Ellerines you guys should really WAKE UP – BAD SERVICE

  4. have been a client at lubners for many years. after the recent closing of lubners and the takeover of beares in our town, we had to deal with telephone calls all day long while the systems were not up to date. as a matter of fact, i closes my account of over 15 years because of the way in which i was handled by personel. such a pity ….. i loved shopping at lubners. the people working at beares now, is absolutely not customer friendly and unprofessional. what a disaster to step into the place.

  8. I am appalled by gross disrespect shown to me by the lady called Judy from Menlyn Furniture City store who is now based in Eco Park Centurion, I trully regret having an account with Furniture City i thought this store was reputable i wonder how is staff trained

  10. I must agree with all of the above, I have also purchased furniture from Furniture City – I will never in my entire life walk into their store again. I am looking to lodge a complaint against them in all respect as they do not know the meaning of service. horrified to the BONE!

  13. I ve bought a Sony 5.2 home theatre at Ellerines Stores in Mafikeng. My sytem got stolen and i reported the matter at shop. My claim was attended to but unfortunately did not go as good as I thought. I was always at the shop they neva once called me and give me progress on my claim i was the one who calls and always the lady there and the store manager were rude. I decided to take the matter up wiht their head office in Jhb. Hai no lies the person who was helping me there was very kind, understanding and even friendly. I took only three days then my claim was approved and I got my sony system back.whereas in mafikeng they took a decade to help me . It was on my birthday when I got a call that my claim has been approved and i had to go to the shop and sigh papers for delivery. I REALY THANK THE GUY WHO HELPED SO MUCH & WHOLEHEARTEDLY.

Ellerines pretoria central the damn woman that calls to say that i havent paid i tell her i did internet payment let me fax it to you she says no i should sort myself out she goes on to tell me that she still has over 600 ppl to call.Rude i work with ppl as well and even when i have my issues i never take it out on my clients.If uy wannna be a prick please do not call me again cause next time i wont drop the phone i will swear at u till u blow.THANK ELLERINES THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL DO BUSINESS WITH YOU.

  15. l bought a tv from ellerines mtata plaza branch in september last year.after 1 year it broke down.l took it back on 30 september .they said l will get it after 2 weeks.l havent got it up to now.they are saying they cant get hold of the guys they sent it to. pliz help me out

  16. Two years ago I bought a lounch suite from a Bears store close to us that have closed down. The lounce suite I bought was a ‘leather’ upper suite with 5 recliners, which was very expensive and to me I thought was an investement as the suite will last at least 10 years or even more. I had endless problems with this suite.
    1. the delivery people damaged the suite when they brought it to me
    2. I had it replaced, however when they brought the new suite they damaged the corners and the one they took back they ripped the whole back off.
    3. We decided not to complain about the damaged corners as it will be a headache when they replace it again.
    4. the three seater’s recliner ‘s kick out meganism failed and we had to get them to fix it, it took almost two months before the job was done.
    5. the lady who handled our complaint was wonderful, she kept on coming back to me regarding the couch to find out if the repair men has returned.
    6. I decided to repay the account in under one year, and close my account, however I only realised that I made a mistake doing so, as now just over two years the couch is showing wear on the seats. the vineer is peeling off.
    7. I am very unhappy about this situation as I do not know how I could have invested over R20 000 in a suite which is going into tatters just over two years of usage.
    8. because the store closed down, they cannot find any record of the sale made to me!
    9. I am crying because my dream suite is looking tatty!

  17. Last year I purchase coughes at Tsakane Mall, the delivery was a process.I had to fight with the shop manager before they could be delivered. Im paying through bedit order, this month they deducted bouble few days after a lady call me to say im in arrears. When i explsin that dhe might be making a mistake she, shouted at me. Im very much angry about bears customer servise, when the customer service line they put you on hold forever end hanging up.Another thing i want to pay off their account but who knows il walk up one there will be guys from their stores to reposes their coughes. Im enough of their attitude in a way i wont anyone to buy at their stores

  19. I’m truly appalled by the service rended in Bears store- Potchefstroom, to say the least! I’m intending to escalate this matter to the Consumer Commision should it not be resolved to my satisfaction.

    My Mother bought a Dining suite not so long ago(December), in CASH.She later decided not to take the suite anymore after two days. The furniture had not been even delivered to her by then. When she went back to the store they gave her some lame excuse, about the store not having funds to refund her! She has been running after them ever since. The store manager is unhelpful and incompetent on this whole matter. She refused to speak to us when we called them regarding our query. So much for Customer Service.
