Ek het gister 10.08.08 2 Streetwise 2, en 1 avalance mint crisp gaan koop by die N1 Stad tak, hoe groot was my skok toe ek by die huis arriveer die roomys was in ‘n gewone houer, geen sous slegs ‘n paar mint goedjies en thats that, die koste presies dieselfde. Die Street wise 2 geen aartappelskyffies steeds ook dieselfdebedrag.
KFC maak julle nie genoeg geld of wat ek het betaal vir skyffies en sous.

I have tried 6 week-ends in a row to get ice cream from our local KFC in Mercury St, Benoni. Each time I am told sorry the ice cream is finished or the machine is broken or the machine is freezing the ice cream & it cannot come out. Tonight I was told it is a new machine but its not working. I have spoken to the duty manager & he assures me that the next time I come in it will be fixed….Now 5 weeks later and I’m still getting a load of excuses…Can someone please investigate & get back to me
I have just experienced terrible service at the Bothasig KFC,and what’s more, received very dry chicken. My initiaL order was messed up, 2 items were forgotten and not placed on the order ! The reason for this was because the staff were talking amongst themselves, despite the fact that the public were standing in a queue for 40 minutes waiting to be served. Generally the all round service has become pathetic at this branch ! The guy standing in front of me asked for a refund on his milkshakes, because he was given the wrong flavour ! And he also had to ask for fresh (warmer) chips because he was waiting 15 minutes for a kiddie’s meal ! The service definitely needs to be “jacked up” !!!

I have just experienced terrible service at the Centurion Jean Avenue KFC ,and what’s more, received very dry and very salty chicken. My initiaL order was messed up. Something need to be done and I dont understad why you dont have a website. You arrogent just as your workers.
I bought Streetwise 2 at the KFC in Lynnwood on 2 September 2008 around 13h00. Around 15h00 I was experiencing terrible stomach cramps and my whole body started itching. I only had KFC for that day, it was my first meal for the day. This has cost me a lot of money because I had to consult a doctor due to this reaction. My other two colleagues who also ate the streetwise 2 on that day had experinced same problems except that the other one had also diarrhoea. I don’t know what might have been the problem, unfortunately I will never buy KFC anymore, it used to be my favourite fast food chicken. Imagine if it was consumed by a child this would have been a very serious issues, maybe that child would have been hospitalised. Could someone take this issue seriously before it affects a lot of people.
I would like to know why does’nt Kentucky start delivering as most of the other take away’s, they will get so much extra orders.
So many people love Kentucky but before getting into their car to buy it they rather pick up the phone and phone debonairs or Steers who delivers!!!
Please start planning for that as I can assure you that you will get much more sales. There is an old age home in Reuven who love Kentucky but they don’t have the extra charges that Mr Delivery charge them to deliver Kentucky. Therefore they rather leave it!!!

I have just been to the new KFC in Parklands, Cape Town. There was nothing new about our food. We ordered a Rounder meal and a street wise 2. Theburger had been standing such a long time, the tomatoe was cooked already. The bun and the chicken were both so dry. Same with the street wise 2… All DRY.
One thing I can say is that my dog was pleased!
They wont see me in a hurry again!

last night i went to your primrose outlet to buy supper.21 piece bucket.chips.coleslaw and mini loaf.the chicken and chips was so dry nearly un bearable to eat.the coleslaw hab no mayo.the mini loaf was about the best.i am sure for the R225.50 that i spent a better meal was expected.please follow up and inform me.
On the 10th of September 2008 at 17:08 we bought take out meals at the Kentucky in Welkom. Again, as with previous experiences, when getting home we found that the order was incomplete. The wife contacted them and explained the situation. The suburb we live in (Riebeeckstad) is approximately 21 km from Kentucky and i cannot be blamed that i was not returning the incorrect order. Kentucky offered to deliver the short item (Spicy wings) immediately. At 18:35 we again contacted them and explained that we have still not received the food. At about 19:00 the delivery eventually arrived. The delivery and the food bought at 17:08 were cold and very distatsefull as we were not going to enjoy our meals when other in the family have not even received theirs..
I am really disgusted that customers can be treated in this manner and will reconsider ever visiting KFC again. You may think that losing 5 customers wont hurt business but trust me if you carry on at this rate you are going to lose many more.

The customer service levels of this branch, generally is poor, but Beauty is an exception. On a few occations when i was served by her, she has been friendly, and selling through your product range. I have allso experiencing terrible service at the Centurion lyttelton KFC ,in the past years, Again on the 17th september 2008 about 16h00 I ordered 3 piece chicken and a grilled chicken twister at this branch, When I got home the pieces of chicken was so over cooked I needed a meat mallet to to eat it, and the twister chicken was fried not grilled. The next day I complained to the staff about this, the only reaction I recieved was a click of a tougue. I was so disgusted, when I discussed this with my fellow workers, in surprise most of them are also getting the same service and told me to go to chicken licken in the complex over the road its better, so I did. “HELLO CHICKEN LICKEN - BUY BUY KFC”
I have 8 grandchildren and am deeply concerned about the milkshake advert that this flighting on South African Television at the moment.
I agree it starts out all very innocent, but in actual fact it shows parents as idiots and the little girl as a liar.
What impression do other children who watch this ad get - “that its alright to lie”.
I believe that this is passing the wrong message on to society, in particular children and should be prohibited from being screened.

This is not the first time that I/we received shoddy service at the above
mentioned KFC.
It is well advertised that the shop is open until 11.00 pm on a Saturday
evening. We went there
at 10.45 pm on Saturday 20.09.08 only to find shop still open but no stock
available, everything
was already cleaned and the staff ready to leave. I spoke to the manager but
he could not give me a satisfactory explanation.
We were forced to visit Mc Donald’s for dinner, they keep to their
advertised closing time.
Maybe Soneike KFC can afford to loose customers, I wonder for how long?

I would like to bring to your attention the poor service I received (on various occasions) at KFC Drive-through in Lyell Street Ladysmith.
After many yaers of excellent service, the last 18 months their effeciency seems to be falling.
After my last visit about six months ago, I decided not to go there again.
The queues were very long because of the kitchen staff chatting to customers.
However, today I was pursuaded by my son to visit them again.
The cashier was very friendly and efficient and helped us nicely, I was impressed. When I reached the collection window, however my optimism dissapeared. The lady in he kitchen requested I drive to the parking area and wait for my purchase there, because the clock registers their delay time when we wait at the window for our order. I drove forward, then noticed that there was no available parking. I reversed back to the window (there was no-one behind me, an I insisted to wait there for my order (The sign stated “Collect orders here” and we’ve been doing so for years.
The assistant was not happy with me and started talking in her language.
Fortunately I could reply to her in her own language!
To cut a long story short, when I got home and opened my parcel the fries were cold, the sprinkle pops had no spices (after she asked what spices I would prefer), and there were no serviettes!
We have another KFC outlet in the Murchison Mall in Ladysmith, and the treatment one receives there, is totally different from this drive through.
Today was definetaly my final visit to KFC Lyell Street.

I want to raise a complaint about the Delmas franchise. On the last two occasions we have been stupid enough to support them, we have left feeling so disillusioned, dissatisfied and unhappy.
On Saturday night, we ordered a kiddies meal, and when we opened the box, no gift inside - went back to the branch, we were given a complete new kiddies meal. However, when we got home (some 22km) from the branch, 6 mini loaves that we had ordered were not packed. We telephoned the branch and were told that we could pick the rolls up the following day. We were offered no explanation of why the rolls were not packed - nor were we apologised to by the guilty staff. The staff at this branch are so unhelpful, rude, uncouth and racist. If their intention is to sabotage the branch, they are indeed succeeding.
On a previous occasion, I orderd an Hawaiian wrap, and received a plain one. Again, no apologies, only attitude.
I will most definitely not recommend this branch to anyone, and shall in future be travelling to Benoni, where we get good service.

My family and I have supported KFC Gabriel Rd ,Plumdtead Cape Town for the past 26 yrs but as from today I am making it my business to let everyone know that instead of supporting KfC Plumstead rather supprt Nandos reason being that over the past few months we have had to eat dried out chicken,stale and soggy rounders,3 chips in a so called box of chips,chocolate milkshake which tasted and looked like melted vanilla ice cream,hawaiian twister with no pineapple and we have had to wait at least 45 mins`to recieve not fresh cooked chicken but half cooked snotty looking chicken and let me not get started on the bad service and attitude the staff have.It is crystal clear that KFC do not give a dam about the poor service that the public is having to recieve .

Ek is regtig bitter teleurgesteld in Cape Gate tak se diens. Vir die laaste 5 keer wat ons die tak besoek het, het hulle nog nooit ons bestelling reg gehad nie en elke keer wat ons spesifiek hulle besoek het was dit vir die kinders se “chicky Meal” en spesifiek die speelding wat daarmee saamgaan. Tans word die krieket speelgoed geadverteer en weer eens het hulle dit nie in voorraad gehad nie en moes die kinders kies van hulle ou voorraad wat hulle reeds het. Waarom adverteer julle dan sekere produkte en het dit dan nie in voorraad nie. Baie pateties!!!!!
Ek is baie ongelukkig oor die diens van die nuwe N1 KFC. Ek was nou al hoeveel keer daar om van die milkshake te probeer, maar elke keer is daar iets fout met die masjien. As die masjien nie stukkend is nie, dan het die masjien oorverhit….. Volgens die verkoopsdame verhit die masjien elke aand 20:00. Nou my magtig, kan iemand nie die masjien vir hulle reg stel sodat hy nie oorverhit nie, of kan hulle nie ten minste net ‘n bord opsit wat se dat hulle nie milkshakes verkoop na 20:00 nie? Ek het nou 15min in die “drive through” gestaan en my petrol uitgemors.

Hi, I would like to comp,lain about the shocking service I received on Saturday 4/10/08 evening. I went to Paradise Junction KFC Drive through. I asked for 2 burger meals, when i went to the next cubicle I noticed that I had been billed for 2 burgers only. I told the lady and she corrected it, but when i was asked what cooldringks I wanted I asked for 2 Cream Soda, was given 2 cokes. (I only saw this when I got home) My change was thrown at me, so it went all over the floor, I had to get out my car and try and find it in the dark - it was not a lot of money, but it was the principle of the matter. I was extremely disappointed with this service - clearly your employees do not LISTEN to what the customer requests!

I would like to complain about poor service at the 3 Empangeni branches of KFC. We tried to order a Chicky Treat Meal for a child and not 1 of the 3 branches could understand what the meal was, let alone what chicken nuggets are (as the Treat meal consists of chicken nuggets with chips and a cooldrink). We drove from 1 KFC outlet to the next until we’d tried all 3 that are in Empangeni and not 1 could give us service. This is pathetic! Why don’t they hand out menus to the public and let us mark off the items we would like to order then there will be no misunderstanding.

I’m complaining about the KFC in Elarduspark, Pretoria. The shop got a facelift a couple of weeks ago, and after that the food is not up to standard. I’m staying in Elarduspark, but would rather drive to the new one on Piering, than buying from this one. I bought “pops” the other day….if the stuff I bought was pops….then I don’t know what “pops” is.
Those were little chunks of over deepfried chicken….(the one on Piering Str, Pretoria is selling nice soft round one’s…rather go there) Then my boyfriend bought a burger and chips …well the chips was cold and old and the tamatoe was off. We used to buy ice cream there…because that was still ok, but lately not anymore. The icecream is not creamy, it has little ice cristals in (like sorbet) and they don’t sell the italian avalange anymore (was only a promo)….so I went to the one on Piering last night, and got service with a smile, creamy icecream and nice soft pops.

I bought chicken at the KFC in Northmead, Benoni, first thought the chicken was over cooked, but then noticed that when lifting the skin it was “Black” like….. very off putting. I immediately took it back to the KFC and asked for the Manager. The Manager on duty was very helpful, professional and kind. My husband noticed the lady that served us came to the counter first to assist. I don’t think i will eat KFC for a long time, but I am very happy with the way the Manager on duty handled the situation. Thank you.
I would like to ask that the all franchise staff be told to ASK the customers if they would like to contribute towards the World Food Program. I think it happens to allot of people that once you start ordering you simply forget about the R2, simply because they don’t ask you about it.
My husband and I went to the Eastlynne KFC in Pretoria. when we enterd the shop there was only two people at the counter, and four people behind the counter including the shift supervisor. we stood there with out being acknowleged for twenty five minutes everone that came in after us, were helped first. Now i ask myself. I am a regular customer of that specific KFC. And I spend no less then two hundred rand at a time. So many times they have mesed up my orders and every time i do not even complain because i feel sorry for the people!! Now i am done. i am sick and tired of this bad service!!!! it is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here by my complain. After driving in a long line for approximately three quarters of an hour, I gladly placed my order for a variety bucket. I paid for it and went to the next window where I was suppose to recieve it. Great was my dissapointment when the lade serving me announced that they have no spcicy winglets to add to the bucket. I told her that they haven’t told me that at the pay point and that I was buying the bucket especially for the winglets. She called the manager. The manager just pulled up his shoulders and said that all he can do is to replace the 16 winglets wit 4 strips. There was a long line of cars wainting for us to solve the problem. He also told met that the winglets came out raw and they don’t know what the problem was. I was ready to pull over and wait for the winglets, but he just told met that I must take the strips and leave met no other choice. Sorry to say, that I couldn’t get my family full. Previous times when we bought the same bucket there was left, but now my children was looking for more. I just want to report it, because I think this is a matter that wil harm your good name. By the way, there is a big bulliten board that announced that the revamp of the kfc provides now the FULL MENU.
I was wondering why the Bothasig branch stopped the 2 for 1 special on rounders. It certainly helped the needy people and I am sure you did not LOSE so PLEEEEZE get it going again. We bought kentucky last Saturday at Jacaranda Centre Branch in Rietfontein Pta and it was terrible!! Never again will I buy from that branch. It did not look or taste like Kentuckty!! And for the price - it is shocking.

I went to Jansenpark in Boksburg, next to East Rand Mall. There was one lady packing an order at her own time. I walked in she did not even look my way. Eventually she looked at me, no hello, no smile. I ordered the mom’s night off. What a waste, the chicken was not even fresh and the veggie bites so so so small. On the display the veggie bites look nearly as big as the pieces of chicken but it is NOT. KFC is not worried about the public that is forsure, if you want bad service and wait thats fine if you dont go that’s also fine.
I just had the most delcious KFC hawain Twister and it was very good. KFC might not have the best Ice Cream service, but hey they specialize in CHICKEN and not ICE CREAM. So if I want the best ice cream I will go to an Ice Cream place. As for the chicken keep making the chicken you do as we will all be suckers and come back for more!

On the 28-10-08 I visited Harrismith KFC to buy two Streetwise2. I asked for side breasts and drumsticks which I was told is an acceptable combination. When we were about to eat we discovered that we are given a thigh in another pack. Unfortunately neither me or my husband eat a thigh. We were stuck with the piece that we could not eat. We have encountered such a problem on a number of occassions and at times we returned the pieces and it cost us petrol because we stay about a 3Kms from the shop. We thought that staff at KFC are trained on customer service and types of pieces sold.

i purchased a double crunch burger from your branch on Point Road in Durban and the burger bun was moulded (green).
I would like to please let you know that I and my daughter are very disappointed with the zinger wings that your Wierda Park franchise in Centurion served us last night (1 Nov), it has possibly been the worst meal that we have had from them, not only did it not have any of the so called zing to it, it was like eating a mouth full of old chicken crumbed to death with flour, and extremely dry. I paid R65 for 21 wings, which I feel was a waste, it would’ve been more satisfying buying the zinger meal, where you get more for the same amount of money, and definately the zing.
You should change your latest ad expressing the zing in the burger rather than in the wings.I think the Wierda Park franchise needs to improve there food as this is not the first time I’ve had to eat horendous food from them. The only positive side to this is its conveinient to stop there as its on route for me, I think from now on I will drive the extra and go to the Kentucky at the Mall at Reds.

however i still see from time to time around capetown, new kfc shops are opening up. is there any way that i coulc also get an opportunity to open one. i identified a location, and did my survey well enough.it turned out people visiting the location mostly preferred kfc. since then i have been working hard trying to open a kfc shop before someone esle opens one there.

good day, yesterday 9th november 2008 we went to KFC fish hoek, western cape to order and my husband wanted to use the toilet and we were refused access.
we tried to go to the public toilets and all were locked. we asked the cashier again whether he could use the loo as he had a weak bladder and she said she will ask the manager. she returned a few SECONDS later and said no, the manager did not even come out and apologise. As a result, we did not buy any food at KFC and supported Fisherman’s Lane instead.

Interestingly, my 12 year old daughter compiled a “Fast food” survey for Klerksdorp and the results do show, that by far, KFC is the most popular.
The reasons for each age group surveyed should make interesting reading and further assist in marketing. Please let me know if you would be interested in perusing a copy thereof.

We are regular customers at KFC Amalinda and unfortunately it has now become way overdue that we bring our complaint to your attention.
On numerous occasions no icecream is available due to the machine being “broken”!! Once again tonight 22 November 2008 at 18h32 - “NO ICECREAM”. This was not the only problem with our order, they had no SALT!! I must mention too that on the odd ocassion that I did manage to get icecream, there has been such a little in the container with ice crystals. The swirl of icecream is made with large hollows in the middle and the side and very little chocolate sauce. We need to add our own sauce at home! Not good enough. No amount of complaining to the staff helps either, they accept it with lovely smiles and move on.
This is an ongoing problem at this branch. Always something wrong with the order. No cooldrink (ironbrew, sugarfree cooldrinks). No tomato sauce. Many times too, on arrival home one discovers missing items such as spoons, serviettes, and even the chips which was charged for separately. Enough is enough. The staff are friendly but this does not help when you have visitors and family at home waiting for their orders. The disappointment brings a lot of bad comments with threats of never to go there again. I expect that you will take the necessary action in order to rectify problems at this outlet.

Last night, I bought a variety bucket for my family. My children eat the pops included in that particular order. When I got home, to my disgust, I found that KFC in Weltervreden Park had not put any pops into the order. So what do my children now have for supper. The staff there are arrogant and rude. If they did not have the product, atleast let the client know so that he can change the order. On the 28/11/2008 I ordered two zinger meals from KFC Greenstone . Apart from waiting for 20mins to receive the burgers, it didn’t taste like a zinger and the presentation of the burger was pathetic .
Furthermore I didn’t even receive salt and sauces .

I am and have been a keen purchaser of KFC for a number of years. However.
I had the misfortune of visiting the Waterfall franchise this evening 29/11/08 at around 18h00. Firstly I found approximately 5 customers ahead of me, and saw about 10 employees very much involved in doing everything except attending to the few customers about! It seemed all were busy trying to figure out how to put through a debit card - the frustrated customer eventually asked to see the manager, and he eventually left before the manager put in an appearance.
Eventually after about 8 minutes, I got to the front at a till point and requested a 12 piece value pack and 6 mini loaves. Well I was floored when the assistant said in her best English, “Sorry se, we have no chicken”!!!!! KFC is only about chicken!!!! Then I was advised that the chicken would be coming in maybe 15 or 20 minutes!!!
I was not told that a batch is frying and would be ready in a few minutes, (This does happen at times - no problem)
The lady was not at all pertubed by this fact that she had no chicken and in fact, the impression I got was “tough - live with it!”
I do suggest you look into this sorry franchise, and get something sorted. The service at the Waterfall franchise cannot be complained about, simply because it does not exist.
Please advise me when the service aspects have been sorted, and I might just give them another try!

Toe hy by die huis kom en ons eet toe is dit die verkeerde meal asook die burger het die hel uit my mond uit gebrand. dit het gelyk of daar rissies tussen die mayonaise was. ek het die meal net so weggegooi. My family and I went to Greenfields Kentucky Fried chicken in East London, only to be helped by a very rude and loud cashier, she messed up our order, the chicken was still raw inside and the twisters were falling apart. I am totally disgusted with the service we received, I will never purchase from this store again, and have already told family and friends about this shocking experience.
Greenfields staff have a lot to learn, manners etc. This is not the first time we have had this problem. Guaranteed we will never ever purchase from this store again.
I drove through KFC, Bothasig, this afternoon 03/12/08 at 16H06. Did not receive a till slip (only NEDLINK Sale Slip for R119.40). Ordered 3 twisters, a Kentucky burger, large chips, pkt strips. All (except for the
strips) were cold. The chips were tough and old - obviously sitting under the lights since lunch time. I was very disappointed as they were obviously using left overs from the lunch rush. At R119.40 I expect a perfectly fresh, hot meal! The staff get complacent between rush hours, when they actually have an opportunity to give customers excellent food as they have more time when they are not busy. Please advise. Thank you.

Yesterday evening, 03 Dec 08, i entered your KFC in Lynnwood Road Pretoria Gift Acres Centre at 21:40. Store closes at 22:00. to find that there was no food available. No tomato, no chicken. when i asked what is available they said they might make more depending on how much i want to order. After trying to get a clear answer out the staff there was at least another 6 customers standing around trying to get and answer. i eventually left without any purchases. could you please provide me with a reasonable explanation for this. I have alwasys had a problem with the drive through,very slow.you can follow the queue,send your passenger inside,get served,eat the meal in the car before you can get to the order window.
The patience was the while because KFC is the best fast food chicken,value for money.
This perception was drastically changed today,I decided to park outside & go into the store.
I purchased a Cornel Burger & Streetwise 2 for take away.
On arriving home,made myself comfortable to enjoy my meal.
The chips was the worst I have tasted,some of them were uncooked.The chicken skin with the batter was harder than toasted bread.
Something is amiss here and would suggest your prompt attention to your quality standards..

On sunday the 7th December 2008 at approx 13H00 my wife & i went to KFC Retreat CPT. On our arrival there a personhad made a big purchase order of 15 buckets of KFC. we told each other we will have to wait for a while which we prepared ourself for.
The reason for my complaint is that we where told we would have to wait 12 to 15 min for freash chicken. but the problem occured when the chicken arrived 20 min later then the staff panniced and just gave to who ever. i could understand that.
but when i eventually got the chicken i was still waiting for the 2 milkshakes which was part of the order.it was now a half hour that i have been in the store.Everytime i asked about the milkshakes we where told that they are busy getting cups.
I would like to know why they did not prepare the milshakes while we where waiting for the food. We asked the manager why they where taking so long with the 2 milkshakes he reported that they are still fetching the cups in the store room. By this time time elapsed was 45 min. i then requested my money back for the miklshakes and he gave it back in such a hurry no appologies nothing just gave the money back.
Good day. My family and I have recently purchased your 21 piece bucket at the promenade branch in mitchills plain. I am extremly unhappy about the chicken on all levels it was cold tastless and the texture of the chicken has as if it was old and just about to be off. I did not tast the original kfc secret spice. This is not the first tim WE have experanced bad chiken and service at this branch.

I would like to bring to your attention the following. On Saturday night the 6 December 2008 I went to your Bedford Centre outlet and went through your drive through. Placed my order, paid for it and was told the till was out of order so they could not issue me with a receipt. When I reached the collection window I was told to wait outside as they would bring me my order as they have ran out of chicken and waiting for the chicken to be ready.
I waited ± 40 minutes – Nobody came out to even check on who have not received their orders. There were 6 cars waiting and complaining. I had to go through the drive through again. When I reached the window the orders were on the counter. Their reply for why they did not come out was that they did not now which orders belonged to which customers.
I was furious as I waited so long and not one of the staff even came out to check. They just left the orders and assumed your customers must come in and it was not their problem. To make matters worse when I got home I had cold Kentucky Fried Chicken
Therefore I expect you to take this matter into hand, as is it not a good reflection on the Kentucky franchise to give such bad service.
To make matters worse when we got home which is a 2-minute drive we had cold Kentucky Fried Chicken. The whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths !!!!!

The family meal 8 pieces of chicken chips for four and salad The chicken was very crisp one could brake off the hard pieces of skin and then the fat. Sorry this was very bad. Last week Saturday bought a whole lot of KFC and the staff kept on messing up the order. Instead of giving the meals on up sized they gave me the normal stuff. I had to check him over and over to make sure that the order was correct. The shop weren’t even that busy. So that’s not an excuse. Sunday i went to KFC Mansfield Pretoria to buy a Twister and a chocolate milkshake. But on my way home as i took a sip of the shake it was sour. I phoned customer service, but that was not of any help actually. They never get back to you about the complaint. A previous time at the same KFC i bought Twisters, Streetwise 2,pops, mash & gravy,coleslaw,burgers etc. But the chicken strips of the twisters were raw. This branch doesn’t even know anything about the new milkshake that is being advertise on TV. The service is just so pathetic . Every time we buy KFC then there is a problem with the order. Had the worst experience of a Drivethru at VREDENBURG KFC. Exactly 55 minutes to serve 6 cars. The place is also filthy-papers and rubbish everywhere. Something needs to be done!
I cannot believe KFC SA does not have an online website. We are your customers, your priority should not be only in making the best chicken but also taking into consideration customers needs and ensuring that they are met. Most companies within the same industry knows that their customers drive their profitability and therefore, they take in our views as consumers. Im very dissapointed, you have been receiving our complaints from last year and its almost the end of 2008 and still nothing has been done.
I just want to complain about 2 of the TV Adverts for Kentucky Fried Chicken.
1) A little girl is crying that a little boy stole her milkshake. Her father takes the milkshake away from the boy and gives it to her. He then finds out that the girl actually never had a milkshake at all. What is this teaching the children?
2) There is a family sitting around a table and the little girls asks if she can pray like her mother does and the mother says yes. The girl then prays ” thank you that they only come once a year”
My family & I find these adverts absolutely disgusting and we thought that KFC had better morals than this.

I would like to inform you about a few problems I have encountered of a new KFC that opend in Springs at the Springsgate Shopping centre the service is absolutely terrible they are slow with there customer service, you only get half of what you have orderd and the swipe card facility is never working. I stay in Springs but will rather drive to Brakpan KFC at least the service there is better

I entered the branch on the 30th of December @ 21h10. Late… as the branch closes its doors at 21h30… but as a local I know that whatever food still left, will be made available. With all the doors still open - small side door included & lights still on in the drive-thru, I entered. Staff were obviously busy cleaning as soap water was running down the center warmer where chicken etc are kept. I took me approx 4 minutes to get the attention of a staff member to talk to (Nobody was behind the counter) and to my question if they were still open & if any food was available… the man ( I presume?!) repeated the question to back kitchen staff. NOBODY!!! answered me… did not look my way or even had the common decency to tell me to GO AWAY!!!! I was left in wait for another few minutes…. I then rushed to the Toti Branch in the hope of still finding them open but alas as 21H45 they were in the process of closing their doors on arrival.
Thank Goodness!! for the Warner Beach STEERS!! Who with proper planning ~> adopts extended hours during our holiday season and with friendly, well mannered & informative staff we were treated as the ‘paying customer’.
May I suggest your Warner Beach KFC staff visit the Streer’s branch for a ‘taste’ of customer service & common decency????

I may not have a name tag that says I regularly buy KFC, but surely thats where I only eat when I am lunching or dinning out. Because you are making the crispiest chicken in the country. Thats a fact. But today, this day the 22nd of December 2008, one of your employees at KFC Rustenburg, corner Oliver Tambo and Bethlehem Drives, changed the tune of the song I usually sing about KFC, because she mistreated from the minute I order. To stamp that really today I was in for a run, she packed my meal in a small take away bag. I asked her so that the bag is going to inconvinience me on the way since I was going to use a taxi. She then pulled out a bigger bag and throw all my meal in a small bag and put a bigger bag on top. I then took my meal i.n a small bag and leave because it is not my job to help myself whenever I am at KFC as I usually get the BEST service with a smile. But I am hurting. I never be rude to anyone, if I did something to her, it would count for something. But I paid with my hard earned cash to be mistreated.
I am not the type to cause a scene but I am urged to go see the manager. I love KFC, and I have been going there since I was very young, but the relationship is being deepen by people who should embrace the KFC brand.
You need to do something with these few because I was shocked to experience the kind of treatment I had today. Thank you, hope you take my concern into consideration. Yours faithfully, customer.

I currently reside in a small town called Howick , a few kms away frm PMB. Up until a few mnths bck we did not have a KFC branch in this town. We did not mind driving down to pmb to purchase a meal of KFC as it was thoroughly enjoyed by my family. Fortunately for us and many pple, a KFC was opened in our town ………. BUT ………..
NOT ONCE HAVE WE EVER BEING SATISFIED BY THE SERVICES RENDERED TO US. ON NOT ONCE , BUT EVERY OCCASION VISITED BY US, WAS THERE A PROBLEM.
heres a few to note:
1: ice - cream machine , out of order….. i have 3 kids who love the ice-cream there …..my kids disappointment
2: ice-cream was all finished…

I work in Meyerton in a financial company and from time to time visit KFC in Meyerton. I visit a few KFC’s in and around Gauteng, but the best service bar far was received by a lady called Ida. The service she gives is astonishing. Doesn’t matter what time of the month or day you drive past her window she ALWAYS greet me and welcome me to KFC, with a smile on her face. When I pay and am about to leave She ALWAYS thank me for buying from KFC, ask me if there is any thing else I would like, wishes me a wonderful day and greet me with a smile. I work in a service industry and we as a corporate company strive to have employees like Ida. She is really a very very very big and valuable asset to KFC Meyerton and to KFC. Thanks Ida, you always make my day, no matter how irritated or upset I am you always out a smile on my face. Keep it up. Your are a star, and because of you, I WILL COME BACK.

KFC in Midrand Boulders is the WORST bad service to start with, and then keeping old specials on the board so that everyone keeps ordering them and when they and the worse part about them is that they wont tell you unless you ask them for example six piece that comes with graivy and a salad they will just give you six pieces ONLY and when you ask them why they will tell you that ” OH! mem the six piece that you see on the board WAS on special but now its finnished to say when they will not tell you. To whom it may concern.I would like to lodge a complaint with regards to the service at KFC Caledon Street Uitenhage On several occasions i placed my orders only to find the exact opposite of that wich i have ordered. needless to say that i have also experienced that some items was never received.I have attempted to inform the manager but it does not seem that the problem has been solved.Secondly,the staff you employed are absolutely pathetic!! Where did service with a smile go to? Our company is approximately 1km from the KFC in Gateway Park, Centurion. We REGULARLY buy KFC because it is very close and everybody enjoy’s KFC. I can’t even remember how many times we have bought food there get back at the office and there is NO CHIPS with our meal. Today again, about 10 minutes ago (27/01/2009 - 13:45), I bought a burger meal, streetwise 2 with extra piece, junior burger, regular mash and gravy and two mini loafs, got back at the office, NO CHIPS with my meal, The amount of sauce on the burger was of such amount they could have left it completely and my coke can was RUSTED, RUSTED???
PLEASE! We spend ALOT of money there, and we allways get screwed someway, I just decided today that I won’t STAND FOR IT ANYMORE!?!!!

I just purchased spicy wings from KFC Pavilion Durban branch, firstly the lady at the counter was very rude and unfriendly. The chicken was not cooked properly, still raw. Surely no one would want to eat half cooked chicken, I paid my money but had to throw the food away.

ons werk saans laat, en het vanaand gedink KFC sal ‘n goeie stop wees. Ons was een van die laaste kliente deur die drive through. Mens moet omtrent skreeu dat die persoon wat die bestelling moet neem jou kan hoor - sy sit(?) baie ver van die ruitjie af. Goed, ons is deur, die 2e ruit vra die geld, ons betaal. Nee maar ons sal nou in die parkeerarea moet gaan wag. Hulle sal die kos bring. Dis seker nou maar reg, ons wag toe maar. Later bring hulle die kos toe nou. Ons jaag huis toe moeg en honger. Kom daar aan, daar is geen strokie in die sak gelaat nie (die het hulle gehou daar by hulle oor ek moes wag) tog het hulle nog STEEDS die verkeerde goed en minus ‘n paar goed ingepak. Ons het probeer bel, maar die foon is beset. en hy BLY beset. Nou ja, ons besluit toe ons moet dit maar aanvaar, ten minste het ons darem kos. En nou hier is ek jammer, maar daardie hoender was so kurk geen siel kan dit afkry nie. Die burgers het vuil blaarslaai en ‘n bleek ou pattie dingetjie op. Niks anders nie. Nie eers ‘n ou druppeltjie mayo nie. Die meal waarvoor ons betaal het se tjips is missing . Agge nee. Ek sal nie weer daar koop nie!!! En ek kan net bynoem, die een karretjie agter ons moes OOK in die parkeerarea kom sit en wag. ? Hoekom? Dis dan mos nie meer spitstyd nie en vir wat gee hul mens nie die slip nie? Is dit maar net oor dit huistoe tyd is en klientediens dan ook sommer klaar is? Al wat hulle gaan sê is ‘do you have the slip?’ wel nee ek het nie want vir die een of ander rede het hulle my nie een gegee nie.

I have never been so disgusted with the Kernel Burger(Rounder as it used to be called) and Zinger Rounder Purchased on Thursday, 5 February 2009 at 17h45 from the Northmead outlet. The buns were stale, could have been at least 3 days old and looks as though they looked for the smallest buns they could find. The chicken breasts hardly looked liked breasts and were so tough and dry that it was unbearable to eat, let alone digest, there was one slice of tomato on the buns and hardly any mayonnaisse or sauce on them. the chips were dried out and tasted disgustingly. I stopped on there on my way home from work in Marlboro to attend a meeting in Rynfield at 18h30 and thought this would be ideal for supper before the meeting, only to be left with disgust and dissappointment, never to buy Kentucky again, I would rather starve than eat their food again. I would like to know is there no parameters set for these outlets with regards to the quality of the food they sell to the public, and as for the price, I could have bought a Pizza at Romans for less and this I could have at least enjoyed. We are not Kentucky or fast food fanatics at the most of times, therefore we do not buy Kentuck and the one time I do we have this type of service and quality of food sold to me. I will never anticipate to purchase anything from Kentucky ever again in my life.

It almost feels useless even filling in this coloumb because it doesnt seem as if you actualy do anything to improve your service. On Sunday 22 February 2009 at 11.30 am the Sarnia Pinetown branch could only offer us wings when we ordered a Fiver. surely at midday on a Sunday the branch should be ready ot the lunch time “rush” We were told there was a ten minute delay. Well there is a Nandos, Steers, Debonaires and a curry shop right over the road. Next time I will not waste my time standing in a queue for nothing. I will go tho a shop that is ready to meet the demand.

Last night my son took me to have supper at KFC Canal Walk, Century City. For such a long time I have watched to ads on TV ans have imagined eating a crispy chicken burger that was juicy and soft. I spoke to the lady behind the counter and showed her the beautiful big picture of the Zinger burger behind her and told her I would like that burger but it must not be hot and spicy. She said if I wanted it with white sauce and I thinking that it is the sauce that must make it hot that I agreed to the mayo. So happy that my son finally has the money to spoil me I just could not stop thinking about putting my teech into the juicy crispy burger, I was overjoyed waiting in anticipation. I recieved my meal and headed off to the tables. I was abit disapointed that the roll was dry and the patty was so small, but I was still happy to finally get the chance to eat this burger I have long longed for. I took a big bite and it set my mouth on fire. My son said to go back as he was waiting for his burger at Steers. I went back and told the lady who searved me and after poking at the burger with another worker they laughed at me, I said to them that I did not want a hot burger. They got the manager and I told him and he too was sort of rude saying that I have to take it, or he has to through this away and it would be a waste and that if he has to make another one I would have to pay for it. KFC I am very disappointed that I could not eat my burger, why did you not make your ads with better understanding that a zinger is hot, your normal burgers were so small, I had to squint my eyes to see it as I have weak eyes and cannot see far. All I had from that meal was the coke, the chips were yucky like it was fried in old oil it was yucky. sis on you KFC. Reading from all the complains it is obvious that you dont care about customer satisfaction as not matter what people will always be buying from you. You will keep continue making money. Shame on you.

Yesterday afternoon (Sunday 01 March 2009), we went for lunch to KFC in Tokai. We waited 40 mintues in the queue before our order was placed. We ordered and paid for two Zinger meals.
When we got home, we opened the packet to take out the meals. Both containers with chips in it were half filled as if someone had eaten on it, yet we paid full for the chips. The burgers tasted like rubber and was horrible. Yet, we as the customer pays for such horrible food. KFC meals are not that cheap!!!!!!!!

My fiance and I are (or were) avid fans of KFC. Today that opinion has changed !! We asked for Zinger wings at the KFC in Pavilion Shopping Centre (Westville, Durban). The store wasn’t busy so the assistant went to find some Zinger Wings and as she was placing them on the warming tray dropped the whole batch on the floor. She blatently picked them up, placed them back on the warming tray and put 6 in a container for us. She looked at us when she did this and eye contact was made so she was very aware that we were watching her.
We waited until she came to us with the box and addressed this with her, with a smirk on her face she lied. We called for the manager who was told of the incident. The manager then asked the assistant to confirm our allegation of which she again denied and shortly afterwards confessed.
It was suggested to the manager by ourselves that this should be a fireable incident. The manager clearly had no intention of even repremanding the assistant let alone fireing her.
Please can someone advise me why people don’t strive to give good service and have pride in their jobs anymore ?

Let me introduce myself – my name is Chariza Beyleveld and I work for a company called Brand Evolution that specialises in strategic marketing, media relations, unique events and creative design, therefore I deal with clients all day. I am not a person that complaints for any stupid reason as I am also in the service industry and know how complaints can be blown out of proportion, but I would really like to bring the following situation to your attention:
On the 4th March 2009 at 12:25 my boss went to Kentucky Fried Chicken in Lynwood at the Hillcrest Boulevard to buy us Kentucky for lunch. When returning back to the office she found that the chicken for her original recipe meal was not in the bag. I then went back to Kentucky to get the chicken for her meal. The gentleman in the drive true remembered my boss and was so kind as to fix the mistake and replace my meal with warm fresh chicken and chips. The gentleman at the second drive true window apologised for the mistake he had made and gave me back my meals. By returning to the office I found that there was only one piece of chicken in the bag and not two as the original meal stipulates.
This made me a bit mad and I was not willing to drive back again so I tried to get the number for the Kentucky from 1023 but it was not listed. My only option was customer care. After about 20 minutes the manager of the Lynwood Kentucky phoned me back. All that he did was made me feel that I was in the wrong and instead of finding a solution he was giving excuses and attacking me. He told me that he was not aware of the problem and if he was he would have apologised to me. I told him that it is very poor service that a manager does not know what is happening in the store and with his bad attitude I will not support the store and nor will my friends and he told me that is fine and he does not care. When I asked him his name, he refused to give it to me (I repeatedly asked him for his name) and then he put down the phone in my ear.
I am sorry but your work is where you spend most of you time so you should be proud of it and it also represents you as a person. I am sure that you as the boss of Kentucky does not want managers like that to be associated with KFC. It gives a bad name and vibe to a great take away and brand. After all it is the customers that pays the managers salary.
With business being so bad lately you should look after your customers and not chase them away with an attitude that you don’t care.

Hulle sê ook vir ons dat die nuwe chicky choice nie met drumsticks kom nie maar enige ander stuk vleis waar in jou lewe het jy dit al gesien.

My husband and I decided to spoil ourselves after a hard days work by buying ourselves KFC so we went to the KFC in Jean Avenue in Centurion.
We bought a Streetwise Feast and started munching as soon as we got home.
To my surprise, I found a piece of STEEL (large enough to get stuck in my throat) in my mash and gravy!!!!!!

Dit is met skok dat ek vanoggend al die klagtes lees ! Ons is mos te ordentlik om te kla, maar genoeg is genoeg. Die Robertson tak is glad nie meer wat hulle was nie. Ons het al ‘n paar keer ou hoender gekry ( duidelik van die vorige dag wat net weer in die olie gegooi is) byna elke keer was daar erge maagkrampe en ……. Ek dink dit is tyd dat KFC dit aan hulle eie sakke begin voel, hulle behoort die dr’s & hospitaal rekeninge te betaal vir almal wat siek word ! Byna al ons vriende , familie & kolegas het al deurgeloop onder KFC - mense weet julle nie hoe siek hoender mens kan maak nie ? Doen asb iets aan die diens en higiene .Dit was altyd so besig hier by ons tak, maar deesdae kan mens sien dit is nie meer so besig nie. Ek is seker dit is nie die ekonomie wat druk nie, maar eerder die vreeslike dr’s rekeninge wat jy moet betaal nadat jy KFC geeet het!

Recently, bought KFC family feast from KFC Sherwood,Durban
got to the car…decided to check my order..only to discover
the rolls and chips were missing. Asked for the manager..was told he/she was not available. I was really angry as the person who served me…very calmly added the rolls and chips ..without even an apology. This wasn’t the first time …that sumthing like this happened at Sherwood KFC. So..if anyone decides to buy from there..take my advice …check ur order b4 you leave. I will never buy from there again. Another place is KFC Reservoir Hills..strangely it doesn’t taste the same…always too oily and pathetic service ….run by a very unfriendly manager. Also, KFC Overport, this i would never ever forget..happen’d some years ago…bought a tower rounder. Luckily, i decided to remove the top roll ..out of curiousity just to see wot it consisted of…only to discover a worm on the lettuce. Took it back…showed the manager as well as all the patron standing and waiting for their orders….i was absolutely disgusted that so little care is taken when food is prepared….don’t think the lettuce was even washed. That’s KFC for u!!!!!!!!

For what it is worth, I will add my complaint to the list nobody at KFC worries about. You branch at Paridise Junction Pinetown must be in the the top ten worst outlets. I have now had enough of this useless outlet and staff. It is now three times that you go there and NO CHICKEN, this is your busness???? Who doe s the planning that you run out of Chiken at 5;30pm every day?? Why no Ice cream?? Dont sell it if you cannot supply. Milkshakes, oh sorry no milk??? I will relate incident number 5, visit, Time 7;00pm three people in outlet waiting for chicken. Three behind the counter.The four of us stood for 5mins I timed it, and not even a “hello” I asked can we be served.not even a response.I asked again, the staff then looked at me and went to the drive through to serve. Does it really help to complain as the comments are generally the same but nothing gets better. Best solution is not to go and support KFC. I am absolutely disgusted by the service u get at the Kentucky franchise in Durbanville. The staff there is more interested in talking to each other than serving their customers. Just last night again - with 4 customers waiting, we had to wait for about 6 minutes before even one order was taken. And that was only after I had to repremand the staff that there was customers waiting. This is a general thing in the store - and I go there regularly. Management should really do something about it.

On Sunday, 26th April, I went to KFC Sunward Park, Boksburg. I ordered 2 x Streetwise Two, 2 x Mash and Gravy and 2 x Coleslaw.
When I got home I immediately saw that there was a problem with the Mash and Gravy. If there was one teaspoon of mash in each container it was a lot and no gravy - only a watery coloured liquid which we could not eat and had to throw away.
This is not the first time we have had problems at this branch.

On Saterday 25/4/2009 I placed an order at Kentucky Tygervalley. When I got home, by rounder with cheese (which I paid for) was not included in my order. The one small teaspoon of mash was drowned in a large container of cravy and the chicken was undercooked. Kentucky is not cheap and an once in a blue moon occurance - one should think it fare to get quality for that price.

KFC Overport in Durban their service is bad, Everytime I go there I must wait +10min before I place an order, people that are working there they know nothing about customer service they don’t give their customers the service that we deserve as people who are paying money that will give them salaries. I have ordered streetwise two, 1 roll and zinger burger, I have asked to give me side breast and drumstick and she put a dry burn’t drumstick, the reason I have checked it because if it a take away they don’t give good quality of meet whilst we are paying so much. I have requested the lady to change the drumsstick, she ask me if it not a drumstick? I asked for the manager Nokuthula the way I was so angry I couldn’t explain to her because before I asked for manager there busy arguing whose going to change drumstick other one saying I didn’t talk to her so she won’t change it and the other one saying she didn’t put it for me. whiles I was talking to Nokuthula the cashier took another box and put big side breast peace and I ask her to cancel my order because I didn’t ask for big peace I ask them to change dry drum stick peace. please make a follow up and I want them apologise the way theya humilated me infront of other customer looking like someone who is greedy.

I would like to put forward a complaint about the KFC in Lakeside Benoni. I bought a Sweet Chilli Twister as a take away. I then left the shop without having a look at the product which was not satisfactory at all. The was no sweetchilli in the twister and it was cold when I ate it. Secondly the service was very pathetic at that shop. The were only two tills opened with the long ques going all the way out of the shop. The service was really poor. I dont belive it is fair for me as a consumer to spend my hard money and at the end of the day not be satisfied with my purchase.
I would like KFC to please get back to me with a solution on how we it will remedy this problem.

My wife and I frequent KFC Bellville (Durban Road) at least twice a week due to the nature of our work. My complaint is that we seldom if ever receive napkins or spicy salt if not personally requested. Sometimes even this verbal request is ignored.
This becomes an issue when I have to stand at the back of a queue while the food gets cold.
Please correct this inconvenience as I am sure that we are able to frequent another fast foods outlet if this persists.

This is now my 3rd experience of been “short changed” or should I say short-chickened!! at the Alberton KFC. We ordered an 8 pc meal and when we arrived home, there was only 7 pc’s in the box. To make matters worse, it was more like kentucky fried fish. Both my husband and I noticed that the taste was off, the chicken was also very dark indicating that they used old oil of which you can taste in the flavour as well. NOT IMPRESSED and we will not be supporting this particular KFC every again.

I used to frequent KFC outlets but the staff always deemed themselves more important than the clients as a once of we purchased a 12 piece meal from the Noordheuwel - Krugersdorp branch with mash and gravy - we live 20km away and only then discover that the mash and gravy comprise of a touch plus minus 5% of mash and the balace gravy i.e the mash was part of the gravy - previously we have purchased chicken pieces that if they were alive they would have still be able to fly - I now close the book on KFC

I always frequent the KFC in Rooihuiskraal. This is now the 4th time that my order was incomplete. I have ordered the streetwise 3 and ALWAYS get the 2 piece but am still paying for the extra piece which I never get. Included with my order was 4 streetwise burgers but never get all 4. I am actually quite sick of the staff always getting my order wrong. This time I asked them if there was 3 pieces of chicken in the box and they said yes, only to go back home to find 2. I am really disappointed in their service and cannot keep driving back to the store to get my one piece of chicken back so I leave it. I have wasted so much money and been robbed so many times at Kentucky that I am hesitant on supporting them again. I always go through the drive thru and dont have much time to check that my order is correct. I will never waste my time going back to KFC.

I must tell you, I am an absolute KFC FREAK!!! I have to have Kentucky at least once a week! At this stage my fiancé want to have a fit if he asks me :”What are we going to have for supper?” and my reply (of course) : “Kentucky!!”. Last night I felt like getting “withdrawal symptoms”, because I did not have KFC for the whole of this week. My fiancé was working late. I phoned him, begging to come home earlier so that we can go and buy KFC. Luckily he said yes. We went to KFC, Brakpan (Prince George Avenue) just after 19:00. I bought my favourites (like always) : Spicy wings, 2 x Streetwise Two, coleslaw and mash & gravy. What a disappointment when I got home. THE CHICKEN WAS STILL RAW!!!!!! Needless to say, I NEVER keep my till slips and with the weather so cold, we did not feel like driving back and returning it… Now, I will say that is not “on”… With KFC’s existence for so many years (and experienced staff), that should not have happened!
Usually one only hear about complains so i am here to give a compliment. Yesterday 24/08/09 my family and i visitedBloemfontein and had a late lunch roundabout 15:45 at KFC IN Zastron Street.On our way back to Kimberley approximately 40 km outside Kimberley, I realised that I have left my bag in the KFC. My husband immediately contaced the store and spoke to Karen who informed him that they found my bag and it is safe. Luckiy my brother was still around in Bloemfontein. I contacted Karen again and informed her that he will be collecting it and she informed me that he will have to provide some form of idenfication for security reasons. I was so lucky to have receive my bag with all the contents in and nothing was missing. I JUST WANT TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU TO KAREN AND THE STAFF FOR THEIR HONESTY AND SZFE KEEPING. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS. its goof to know there are still honest people out there/ THANK U ONCE AGAIM. MUCH APPRECIATED.

Last night went to KFC-Primrose, ordered 6 pieces of normal recipe chicken, 6 zinger pieces & large packet of chips. Arrived home, about to serve dinner and what I found in the box was terrible, The normal box was full of old smelly oil, the pieces were the darkest shade of brown. Turned over the pieces and all you could see was a layer of “car oil” at the bottom of the box. The zinger box looked OK, oil wise, but the pieces were once again dark and oil was the “name of the game”. Back in car, drove to Primrose, waited until one of the staff sort of got irritated, cause we kept on asking for some service. Showed her the box, “did you buy this here, today”. Yeah, plse check your records, about 30 mins ago. OHHHHH… took the box, gave us 6 new pieces. Asked if the zinger pieces were fresh. Yes, was the even more irritated response.
Not even gonna bother wasting time, trying to explain what the chicken pieces were like. Ate 2 pieces, cause I was hungry. All I know is that I was sick all night.
Please guys, KFC is such a grand, brand, what the hell in going down. The service, the quality of food, the way the staff, treat us your customers, the dirty clothes (jeans) they wear. The laughter, loud noise is just a drop in the ocean of what has happened to your Primrose branch. Does KFC not send inspectors to make sure their brand/quality is kept ???

I have been using Kfc Malvern in Durban for about three years now twice a week. At first what a good experience but of late everything seems to have gone pear shaped.
Trying to fight your way through the rude car guard, broom sellers and beggars with the quality of food of late it simply is not worth it.
My wife and nepfew now shops at Steers and Nando,s whilst I still try and get a decent meal at Kfc but not for long!!!!

KFC has always been a sure bet as far as the chicken goes, I have seldom had a problem, and on the one occassion the manager at the Amanzimtoti store was very friendly and helpful.
However, I went to the store in Berea Rd for an ice cream today, and was brushed off without explaination, that they did not have ice-cream in the shop. I then drove 50m up the road to the Berea Centre store who also dd not have ice-cream on offer, but this time with the regret that their ice-cream machine was in the process of being cleaned.
From other comments here, it seems as if KFC are experiencing problems with their ice-cream dept.?

I went to KFC Southgate yesterday 28 August 2009@16h55 & ordered streetwise 2 x2. I asked for Zinger chicken pieces ,the cashier Celia told me that should wait for 20min which I did.As the time was nearing I asked my son to find out what is happening and the cashier came to me and said that they forgot to set the timer on & the chicken burnt ,do I mind waiting another 20 min. Well I waited. 20 min went I then send my son to see what was happening again.The big black man ? manager said in sotho I should wait and he is around. His attitude was unexceptable. By now I was getting angry and just sat .All the staff was now looking at me as a hour has gone pass and no chicken. I then went to the casher Celia & asked for my money back,as it was getting closer to my time breaking fast. Another Manager Nkadimeng Lphoko (seen photo)came as I asked for my money. The chicken also finely arrived. I told the cashier&N Lphoko that I was unhappy and that I will lay a complaint. N Lphoko then clicked her tongue and left.That was very rude and disrespectfull. I went yesterday 28 Aug2009@16h55 to KFC Southgate to buy streetwise 2 x2.I ordered Zinger chicken,the cashier Celia told me to wait 20 min for chicken. I sat and waited. close to 20 min I sent my son to see what was happening the cahier came to me & said that the timer was not switched on for the frying of the chicken and now its burnt,do we mind waiting another 20 min.She offered us milkshake & I said no thanks but she came with it. As we were fasting and could not drink it. Well I sat and waited. 20min gone I asked my son to see again no chicken. The cashier told ?manager big black guy and he spoke in sotho and said she must just wait & I am around. I want to complain about the Valencia store in Nelspruit.Two thursdays ago,I went to order a meal for the family.Just about every car in front of me,had to park and wait for food that could not make up there order.You now have people standing at the drive through window(as well as Friends of the drive through staff-security risk).We too were asked to park and wait.After 10 mins I sent my son to ask about our food.Eventually he was told it was ready and called me to help,as he couldnt carry 4x milkshakes in one hand.I walked over to ask for the cupholders.Firstly everone ignored me,when I got upset,Then everyone sniggers and talks to each other laughing in another language,still ignoring my request.The service is shocking and the attitude even worse.You should sort them out as I will not support them again.The new store at the Grove is just as bad.Half the order was not available,staff cant even use the tills etc.My food was tough,and cold by the time I got it.Another waste of R200.Goodbye Kentucky,my friends and I will not be seeing you again.

Last night I had a very bad experience at KFC Mokopane. I have 2 small children and after being in town late I decided to get some KFC on the way home. We placed an order for 3 burgers, 5 pieces of chicken and the new special burger with chips and a shake. The lady at the drive through appologised and told me to just park in the parking area because I would have to wait a little while for my order. 20 minutes later I walked up to the lady handing out the orders and asked about my order, they are busy with it. Another 5 minutes later I walked into the store and wanted to complain to the Manager. After hearing my story he said that he would take this matter up with the staff and that he was sorry. I can not believe this, surely there is more that can be done? There is just no customer service. To top it all they had the order wrong, I did not bother to go in to change it, did not have the enegry to wait for 25 minutes more. I would not have had a problem to wait if we saw other people waiting but we were the only people waiting, all the other people got their orders and left. I am really dissapointed with the way this situation was handled.

Two weeks ago Friday night at half past six, when the shop was so busy the customers stood out the door, they could not help 2 customers in front of me and niether could they help me. I went to Galito’s instead. Tonight at the same KFC i bought the most awefull famous bowl i ever tasted, there was no corn in it, and the mash was dry and old. Very.very disappoiting KFC Kimberley corner Bultfontein road. They root, do not know how to speak to clients and you can never put a order in 18h00 on words without waiting 10-20 min , then they are not even bussy.
Maandag 31 Augustus 2009 het ek KFC Alberton - Voortrekker straat besoek - needless to say - was ek hoogs ontevrede met die diens, en toe ek die produk wil omruil vir iets anders minute nadat ek die bestelling geplaas het , toe kon hulle nie - en toe ek by die huis kom is daar ‘n stuk hoender kort - ek was baie mismoedig en vies - en het dadelik KFC se help lyn geskakel - en gedink ” ag ek sal seker niks verder hoor nie” - GROOT WAS MY VERBASING - die volgende dag het Lourence Van der Walt die eienaar van KFC Alberton my geskakel en onverskoning gevra - en my dadelik gevra om die aand terug te kom vir ‘n komplimentere ete - Ek was redelik senuweeagtig om terug te gaan want mens weet nie hoe gaan die personeel ‘n mens behandel nie - maar glo my - toe ek in stap is ek vriendelik ontvang, my bestelling gereed, en die persoon wat my bedien het, het my gegroet en onverskoning gevra - die Helpdesk mense het my ook geskakel om te hoor of die saak uitsorteer is.
Ek het die eienaar persoonlik geskakel en gerus gestel -
DANKIE VIR DIE PUIK TERUGVOER EN DIENS.

Ek hou van KFC maar sal bly wees as hulle ophou om die ongesonde gekleurde sout oor hulle skyfies strooi. Gee liewer wit sout saam sodat elke persoon self sout na smaak kan oorstrooi.

I am so disappointed with KFC. Yesterday evening I went to KFC in Meyerton and ordered the Family 6 piece and Add family feast add 6 zinger wings. Now I live about 25 min away from Meyerton as I am in Walkerville. I ordered two cold slaw salads and two chips but to our disappointment we only had one of each. We had paid for the food and to go all that way back again to correct it will be such a waste of time and petrol never mind the disappointment of the family that is hunger. Now I would like to know what I can do to correct this as we were cheated out on our meal and not that eating out is cheap either.

Ek het gister aand 18 Setptember 2009 by Carletonville KFC gaan kos koop. Die twister het so min vulsel in gehad ek het 3 happe deeg geëet voordat ek vulsel geproe het. Voorheen as ek ‘n famous bowl gekoop het was dit genoeg om my versadig te laat want die bakkie was altyd vol tot bo die deksel kon skaars opkom. Gister aand was die bakkie slegs een derde vol en die kaas wat bo-op is was so droog gebak dit was taai en onsmaaklik. Die hoender was ook nie van die aangenaamste nie. Die vorige keer omtrent 2 weke gelede toe ons daar gekoop het, het die hoender geproe na olie wat gebrand het. As ek kyk na hoe die klandisie afgeneem het dink ek dat ek nie die enigste klaer in Carletonville is nie. Oor naweke het die rye (4) tot by die deur uitgestaan en gister aand het ek 2de van vooraf gestaan. Ek dink dit sê baie.
I went through the Drive Thru at KFC Newton Park on Saturday night. When I got to the order window, I asked the the sales lady if they have any meals with 2 Rounders and Chicken pieces and she said no? I am sure they have meals like that. Furhter more, she then turned around and closed the order window in my face and turned around and walked away. Is this how much they vallue their customers in a resession? I then called the Manager wich also had no idea what goes on in his own store. This is now my 6th complaint about this store and I am not taking it anymore. I then ordered the new variety Feast with the two rounders and two twisters but asked for Zingers, No tomato. When I got home, I got two rounders with tomato. I am allergic to tomato and I keep telling them this. I demand my money back for this order as I couldnt eat the food and it was too far for me to drive all the way back there as I stay 15km away from that store. I have been complaining about this store and its *** service for a while now but they just seem to get worse. How is this? If I dont get my money back by end of this week, I will go to my contacts at the Herold and this WILL be in the Paper. Front page!!!!

Vir die hoeveelste keer word ek gevang vir ‘n sucker, maar met die vertroue dat die gewilde produkte van KFC sal verbeter het. Ek het 5 stukkies hoender gekoop by Jeffreysbaai 2 en wat ‘n riller, want die ou olie het uit die stukkies hoender getap en die kors waaroor ek mal is was so hard dat ek nie daardeur kon deur byt het nie. Verder, waar ek skool hou het die personeel ook gekla oor hul diens en dat hul foutiewe bestellings plaas.

Since it is much more common to critisize bad service, I would like to comment on the exellent service I had at Stellenbosch branch KFC on wednesday evening!Even though they were extremely busy, the person behind the counter who helped me was extremely helpful, with a big smile, and very apologetic when my order took a few minutes longer then usual.I even received a free Ice cream to make up for the extra minutes. I feel that this staff member have to be congratualted and rewarded by the authorities! The staff member was male, and his name is Geran. Any company would be honoured to have such a loyal, friendly and exellent staff member!Stellenbosch branch, hold on to him! You are very lucky to have him!

I am disgusted with the ads that are used on TV at the moment for the sale of Kentucky Fried Chicken. It is such an oxymoron - on one hand you are promoting family motives (togetherness, family happiness, making sure a family brings together old family values of being together at family dinner time) - and on the other hand you are teaching people (youngsters being the ones who copy from the older ones) to be spiteful, me only attitude and if my dad is bigger than your dad, then I can steal your milkshake / icecream and get away with it without a word of apology.

I bought a 8 piece from the branch in Ermelo Church Street. When I got home there was only 7 pieces of chichen and only wings and legs, normally there is breasts or bigger pieces in, further more there was no 1 litre coke as shown on TV. I at least buy once a week but if this is what is to be given to me now Forget about it I will never but never go to Kentucky again. My wife took the car for a wash so the slip was disposed of so was of no use going to the branch to complain.
I cannot believe that I would see it comming to this. I did complain to Getclosure no responce, well one VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.
This is a complaint about the KFC in Wood Road , Montclair , Durban.
On numerous occasions , and again today , the chicken supplied in my purchase was absolutely disgusting - hard and dry and cold - we could not even eat it and gave it to my dog .
The attitude of the Manager , when I phoned her about this , was one of ignorant surprise and matter of fact.
There were days , a few years ago , when this outlet was good , but now a lot of people are complaining about it and it must surely be one of the worst we have experienced in South Africa.
I think it is about time that someone of Senoir Authority in KFC SOUTH AFRICA paid this outlet a visit and jacked them up as their attitude seems to be ” move it as quickly as possible and to hell with the customer”

While most like your chicken and you are very popular amongst middle and low income earners , the track record of your franchisees (Cape Flats) wrt labour relations needs much to be desired. Very little transformation beyond store management.Mostly whites beyond this level.This goes against the grain of employment equity and insults the long hard battle for equality in this country. Unfare contracts with staff means that they have almost no recourse when you declare them ” unfit” for employment.
Hoepfully the labour court will see this and take action!!

Groot was my teleurstelling toe ek by die huis kom en vind dat die “mush & gravy” nie in was nie en dat die hoender so lank gebraai was dat dit heentemal onsmaaklik was. This morning I bought my usual Twista at Lyttelton KFC Till nr 24 Thibile.
What a dissapointment. I took a photo if you want proof. 2 little strips of chicken no mayo, 2 tiny pieces of tamatoe, and just about a spoonful finely chopped lettuce. I bought two bur took a photo of one only. This is not the first time, but I love my twista and did not complain then, as I saw that they were very busy. It is sad that the Twista that started of as a lovely meal now turned into a snack.

If you read through the comments above, you will notice one thing in particular….The service sucks and you will also notice people are refering to “in the past”, “bring back”…KFC management…WAKE UP!!!
Your quality of the cooked chicken if i may call it that is of inferior quality, it is not the KFC we knew…i experienced the worse chicken at the Kuilsriver outlet, and while there, another customer walked in to show the on duty manageress what the quality of the end product should look like when he left there and went to buy from another outlet and came back all the way to show her.
I will not buy KFC again, i will raise my kids on Mac D or Nando’s, as we all know fastfood is quick and easy and kids and grownups love it….
I hope someone in authority at KFC sees this posting and does something about the terrible service and chicken…if i may call it chicken….

Last night i went to KCF in Northam, Limpopo and ordered a fully box meal. like always i had to wait long for the food and the service was poor. the staff requested me to take my meal without the Mash and Gravy due to there was no Gravy after i paid for the entire meal. after telling the staff i will wait uin line for the food she threw the food around. the is really no way to treat any customer. i will not support any KFC is this is the way they treat customers. You either need to shape up or close your doors.

KFC as a whole has gone down the tubes of late, I have been to a number of different KFC here in pretoria lately and the service from the one to the next is just as bad, if they dont have the order wrong, the forget some bits all together… I have even received a tower burger without chicken, I thought thats what KFC is all about, chicken… Come on people, from what we see here some drastic action is needed by KFC management, but I feel that BEE might have taken its toll on management that still gave a damn…!!!

On Sat 10 Oct I went through the KFC Drive through at Douglasdale in JHB. On returing home I discovered that an a rounder was missing.
I phoned the Regional Rep (Dorette) who told me there was nothing she could do except get the store to phone me. The store did phone and told me that I could come and collect a refund. I did not do this as it wasn’t woth the petrol.
They would not send the item to me or deliver a refund. The next day I was phoned to say I could come and collect my order. Also not worth my while.
This is shocking customer service. You still have my money and I don’t havr the food.
Well done - I will stick to Steers in Future.
The treament meted out at my mother on the 10/10/09 at KFC Drive-through in Lyell Street Ladysmith by two cashiers, viz. Swazi and Bonnie was very distasteful and disconcerting to say the least. What more appalling is that this was done before the eyes of other customers who had to interject to stop this stinking attitute from these two. I am of a view that my mother deserves at least a written apology from the outlet and these two be removed from the serving points.

We bought a boneless meal for R 94.90 at your store in Robert Broom - Noordheuwel on Friday 16/10/2009. I think they fried the chips over and over as it was not fresh and very greasy. Even the chicken were dark in colour which means the the frying temperature was very high. The pieces was also very oily. The quality is not good at all. Please train your staff the basics of oil management and the frying process.

Last night we ordered KFC in Waterfall KZN and it was so discusting!!! The service was also discusting, the place is alway dirty and the staff are so rude!!! I think KFC should be removed from the shopoing centre and put a takeaway place there that actually sells nice tasting food as well as give excellent service! I will never order KFC again! And when I try to get hold of Head Office there is no number? Why? I hope some sues KFC soon and they close down!

Voorheen het dit al gebeur dat ‘n spesiale aanbieding nie beskikbaar is nie en ons het nou al amper elke keer by die “drive through” gekom waar ons gevra is om voor te gaan wag aangesien hulle nog besig is met iets. Gisteraad weer - 17:14 het ek ‘n Variety bucket met chips gekoop, moes voor gaan wag en het dit eers 17:49 gekry. Waarvoor is daar ‘n “drive through”? Maar ek moet aanhaal - hierdie outjies se diens is maar oor die algemeen baie swak - en vriendelikheid kos ook niks.

KFC in Umhlanga is disgusting. I went there yesterday 24 Oct 2009 and received chicken that was floating in oil. What has happened to the standard of KFC. The staff are rude and give preference to their friends. I was told that when I buy the 6 piece pack I would have to accept 2 wings, 2 drumsticks and 2 thighs. the pieces were soo small that it was not worth the R60.
While standing there one of the staffs friends came in and order the 2 pieces special (can’t remember the name of special) and received from the staff 2 breasts, where as the when I ask about the pieces for the special, I was told that you get 1 wing and 1 drumstick. Anyways when I received my order I opened it (as I always do before I leave the shop) to find 6 tiny pieces and I could of made chips at home with all the oil floating in the bottom of the box. However I declined the order and leeft the shop. The owners of these franchises should catch a wake up call and start paying an interest in their shop and their staff and their product they selling. I have officially given up on eating at any KFC. I think I am gonna start a boycott on Facebook…..

I am an avis KFC fan I would like to express my dissapointment at the shocking quality or lack thereof that we recieved when we bought chicken for the family at your N1 City oulet on Sunday evening 26 October. The chicken was very dark and obviuosly overdone, but the worst was that this is the first time taht I have had indigestion from KFC. So something is amiss.
I am not going back to that outlet until you can convince me that it is back the KFC quality that I know and Love.

I am so sick and tired of Kfc in Pretoria West. Easily the worst KFC ever. This is my third complaint over a period of 4 months, and yet nothing has been done. This weekend, sunday, my cousin, not knowing how oil dripped the chicken always is, and in what dissapointing state this kfc is, went there and bought himself kfc chicken pieces. He went to the docter today, sick as hell. I wish for kfc to please advise me if something is going to be done about this. I am planning to go to the newspapers today and make this known to everyone. I buy KFC atleast once a week and all i want is fresh food… i always eat the colnel rounder but on sunday it was as thin as a prego roll and i thought i was eating a piece of rubber. i have not had a good burger for about 2 months now, and i am seriously not going to eat at KFC anymore.

today 28/10/09 for the first time i decided to use the kfc in isipingo next to the shell garage, i was hungry and purchased 2 streetwise 2 and 2 large mash and gravy,this was the biggest mistake i made by using this kfc the chickens i got from them looked like they were 1month old, they seemed to have been decomposing inside, the coating was hard and dried up,the mash had a funny smell , i can go on and on but i gess u now the rest, anyway for the past 20 years i have been using toti, never had a problem.

We got back from JHB at 9.40 last night and went to our local Kentucky in Waterglen Centre, Pretoria. We placed our order and were told they have run out of chicken they gave us what they had, they did not tell us they have run out of mash and we ended up with a bowl of gravy and a drop of mash. We however were charged the full price for the order. I was very annoyed on getting home to find this. Waterglen shop is normally a fabulous outlet but this really was not good enough. Had they told us up front we would have gone to another outlet.

I have never received such bad service ever. This morning I went to KFC Worcester at 9:00, when I came the the lady showed me through the window that they are closed. As far as I know they should be open at 9:00. I decided to wait and 9:20 they asked my order, not in a nice way. Good day i went to the Kentucky store in Witbank the Watermeyr str branch, Next to Pick and Pay. I was standing in the row for more than 30 min. The row was outside the door. 2 Tills was open and it was the end of the month. The crates full and some half with rolls was on the counter, the shop just advdertise DIRTY ! but the i ordered, i asked for a burger with chips the chargrilled i received a streetwise burger for kids, then i asked for a other burger again the large one when i got home we sat infront of the tv “thanks for take aways we can relax” then my husband bites on the burger and a large piece of chicken fell of RAW RAW RAW !!!! it was so discusting ! Really the head office people pls do not let any branch know that there is a inspection just go and get the surprise of your life. Pls man food and other people’s health is instake here. Your service and cleaness of the shops are not there anymore, i think it is because it is goiing to good now you dont care. DONT LOOSE THE PEOPLE THAT STARTED GETTING YOU ON THE RUN. !!!!!

Klerksdorp Branches have been renovated. Why? Well this is a question which I realy hope to be answered, because the quality of the food went from bad to worse. We use to buy almost once a week KFC sometimes you received a totally wrong order and only notice it when you arrived at home. The quality of the chicken was not that bad always, but recently after the ronovations it is VERY OILY and like tonight almost OVER FRIED. The whole meal ended up in the plates of the dogs and even they look and turn around.Are there no standards through out the franchises. Please I would like to receive some feedback!!! At the end it is not a cheap meal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is the service at KFC so bad lately, seems as if the managers don’t know how to order and plan ahead, never mind the rudeness of the cashiers.
last week I went through a drive through in Durbanville (Cape Town), if I only were able to get out I would’ve, 22min’s later with only 5 cars in front of me from start, I was told no smokey cheese twisters available, and go and park in the parking lot, because the wedges are not ready, it’s called a drive through, fast foods, which means get on with it please, I was late for my appointment because of this.
Yesterday in Blueroot Mall, Tokai KFC, Cape Town, I was informed hat they do not make the smokey cheese twisters, this by a cashier really doing me a favour getting her fat bud off the counter to assist me…
To my knowledge being a franchise all outlets have to do the whole menu.
Seems as if I really have to adjust my tasting habits for lunches.

Hi, I am not sure if I am sending my comment to the correct division, but this was the only contact I could find. I am one of you regular clients and when we have functions big or small this is the company I think of when we need chicken or feel like eating some. I was very disappointed on 2 weeks ago when I visited your Canal Walk branch in Cape Town. I ordered one of your “rounder meals” with the milkshake and had left the store and was on my way home, while eating the meal and eventually getting to the best part the burger, it was extremely strong as I ordered the zinger - normally the batter would have the tang and the mayonnaise would simmer the strength and this would then allow you to at least taste the chicken - BUT THIS WAS NOT SO! To crown it all I could not bite through the chicken as it was very RUBBERY! I did not enjoy my meal at all and am now discouraged to visit any of your stores.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to express my frustration.

If you plan to go to KFC Woodmead beware. The drive thru credit card machine does not work. You place your order at the booth and expect your order to be ready on collection at the front. Joke !. You have to wait again and replace your order, plus stand in the line, AGAIN. Then you get people who do not stand in line but jump the line (becasue there is no line) Frankly there service is shocking. Then get told they are out of stock. Time spent 50 minutes for nothing…..Plus the staff cannot speak english. I then went to Steers and was served and had my order in 10 minutes… Well done Steers Woodmead and shocking service from KFC.

I was really not impressed with the new boneless KFC chicken pieces that do not even taste like normal KFC, but more like dried up shoe leather. I also believe that value for money ,it really is not worth it at all.
What really made me mad is that I was asked to wait in front for 2 minutes only having to wait for at least 15 minutes.Do these people understand what a customer is or do they believe that we owe them something.This little episode took place on friday evening,7th Nov.2009,at the KFC outlet Heugh Road,Walmer,PE.

Last night my boyfriend & I went to the North Beach, Durban KFC and ordered a Family Feast only to be laughed at by 2 of the staff members. When my boyfriend asked what was funny the one staff member walked away into the back of the shop & left us standing there wondering what had happened!
She returned a few minutes later with a smirk on her face & told us that there are only chicken wings.
We were still not sure why it was a laughing matter. We actually thought it was very rude to have behaved in that manner & totally unprofessional.
We then left totally digusted with the service & went to another KFC which was out of our way.
All in all were are very unhappy customers as we frequent the North Beach KFC because it is close to home & convenient for us.

I have received the most pathetic service at KFC Northway Mall Pietermaritzburg from the time the branch was opened and i have visted it i cant comment that i am please with their service.Its not the brand or the food,but its the incompitent and rude staff that brings a brand down.I now drive 10 km into town to the Commercial Road branch to purchase kfc.I recentky saw that KFC is opening a branch at Greytown Road and i am pleased.I work for a cellular network,at counter sales for 10 years and we receive customer services training every 6 months,i would suggest that your staff at Northway Mall be sent for something like that or try to even use general manners to carry your brand.

I want to agree with Loftie. The service of KFC in Windhoek is pathetic to say the least. Three (3) out of the 5 items we ordered were out of stock! And this is not the first time. When talking to the manager, he did not apologize, nothing. Just said there is nothing he can do and turn around without letting me finish. That indicates he gives a damn, cause the rest upwards gives a damn. (by looking at the complaints above and no answer / improvement) And if that was not all - when receiving our order through the driveway window, I had to go to inside anyway, because they did not pack our full order.
Luckily, there is a Nando’s and Ocean Basket around. KFC wouldn’t see me soon. (if ever)

Tonight at KCF, Paul Kruger Street, Pretoria, the guy in front of us waited 18 min for a streetwise 2 ! When he complained the lady behind the counter sweared at him! Can you believe this? The KFC at Longbeach Mall, Noordhoek is absolutely pathetic … my honey & mustard Twister was very dry, having half a teaspoon of sauce at one end only … my daughter’s large Sprinkle Pops came without the sprinkle (as usual) … my husband got FOUR chips with his Streetwise 2, and no spoon with his mash and gravy ….. the service is also shocking and I have put up with this for far too long … this was the very last time this store will ever see … KFC SUCKS and I intend taking this to management so the guys at the top can realise what is going on at the bottom!

I have just experienced terrible service at the Robindale,and what’s more, received needed to remind the attendant to hand me my 2 packets of large pops, had to ask for the chutney flavour, just to be told that apparently it does not come with large pops - then what does it come with? Eventually he handed it to me after a discussion in siotho/tswana with another attendant. Again I had to remind him that I qualify for the soccewr ball that is on promotion. The attendant again liaised with antoher attendant and then handed me a WWF toy - that was not in accordance with what I have qualified, since I also ordered a “NEW FESTIVE MEAL” that made me qualify for my mini soccer ball.. . I tried to tell him this is not it appropriate, I qualify for the mini soccer ball. The attendant looked away and statrted again talking in sotho/tswana and I caugt the word tsamaya, which I gathered was aimed at me? In the meantime the manager arrived and asked what was the problem. I told him that although the attendant confirmed my order when he handed my parcel, my “pops” was missing, I had to ask for chutney flavour, and the toy was not ok. He spoke to the attendant that again repeated “tsamaya”. So I walked out, so upset and embarrassed that they could not get an order or toy rignt. On top of that I discovered when I got home that the 2 coleslaws that I have ordered was also missing from the packet - I assume it was also forgotten on the counter behind the attendant. The reason for this was because the staff were talking amongst themselves, discussing the issue of the chutney flavour that I asked for to accompany the large “pops”. The guy in fron tof me also had to ask for his waterbottles twice before that was handed to him. The service definitely needs to be “jacked up” !!!

I have had numerous bad experiences at the KFC branch in the Strand Western Cape at the O.K. shopping centre Gordons Bay Road.
I contacted the office in the Gants Centre and explianed to the lady that answrered the call and she told me that the Gentleman that is involved with the complaint of this store is not available and would get back to me.That was 3 weeks ago.I work abroad and have left for work and up until my departure had no feed back.
One does not always want to complain, but if you have a bad experience at the same store numerous times one feels that something should be done about it.
I mentioned to the Lady that the people where shouting in the store and I approached the Manager and he said that there is a competition in the company that is why the people are shoputing like that (which I did not understand.)As to my order well the Lady serving us walked around with the barrel open to the back and then put things in and then returned to the front and pushed the lid on an d pushed it into the chicken squashing the meat and the Zinger burger I ordered as well was overcooked and dry and nothing on the roll.And the chicken in the barrel was not cooked properly.
Well I dicarsded the items purchased and thought nothing of it I said to my wife Maybe it was just our bad luck that day.
There after a week or so my Wife went to purchase items again and they had not giving what we asked for we asked for colslaw salad and they put in terrible hard potatoe salad and again rounder burgers where bought and the same thing the fillet used in the burgers where hard and dry and there was approx 4 pieces of shreeded lettuce and a half a slice of tomatoe and a half a teaspoon of mayo on the roll.One has not always got the time to check when you are standing in the drive through so when you get back home you find these things,as one is paying for the product one expects the staff to process the correct orders.
I work as a executive chef and I know about the service industry and food preperation.And what is going on in this store is not a pleasure,there are many patrons of KFC that feel the same way as I do about this store.

KFC is so disappointing lately. The one in George where we live is seriously getting slower and worse by the minute. The weekend i went to Summerset West, Waterstone Village KFC. Ordered food for friends. We were the only car in the drive through when we got there. We waited 25 minutes for the food at the last window. Our order wasnt correct. No sprinkles with the pops, no milkshake with a meal we ordered and the new MILO milkshake wasnt even filled 75%. For R16.95 you expect a bit more than that.

I’m from Cape Town and are currntly visiting Ladysmith. Two nights in a row we bought Family Feast’s at their KFC. Both nights they didn’t have plates and cups, as we were sitting down. The second night I asked for cups and plates and they replied that they don’t have any for the past few days now. They offered me the boxes for the 5-pieces to make plates of, and 4x salad cups to drink the drinks from. I am definately not an animal to drink drinks from a bowl, and they replied that the cups they use for the milksake and ice cream are too expensive to let me have it to drink drinks out of it. I asked for the Area Manager’s no., and they gave me, after waiting for nearly 40mins, a number that just rings.

The complete opposite is the KFC in the Spar Centre in Kloof. I have bought from them occasionally on a week-end over a number of years and usally regret doing so every time I leave the shop.

Allot of customers including myself are very disappionted about the service we get from KFC outlets. This problem could easily be corrected if you implement simple measuring tools, proper performance management systems, competent directors, managers and staff. When I opened mine, was I now suprised: two small pieces of chicken strips, and what looks like a green salad stood over for 2 days from a braai. I could not see a white sauce, it was so thin, I think they pre-mix the white sauce (moyo) or whatever, with the salad and keep it in a container. The salad is not fresh at all. I did not eat it, I left it in my fridge and went and got myself some fish and chips from a local seafood cafe around the corner.

Nie een van die werkers daar is entoesiasties om hulle werk te doen nie. Hulle almal lyk dik bek. Dit is die geval by al twee die KFC’s op Bethlehem. Please tell me why, when ordering a street-wise two, do you automatically end up with the worst remaining pieces on the tray. I have just purchased two street-wise two meals, and when arriving back at work, discovered the smallest, most disgusting, shrivelled up pieces of chicken ever. Surely I am paying for two pieces of chicken, and not just two halves, or the tiniest piece the staff member can lay her hands on.
I think in future, I will buy only one piece, then I stand a better chance of actually getting some chicken.

Kentucky outlet in white river must be the most terible in the country outside the chicken is burned and soggy with oil inside is raw red meat the three tellers seems untrained and customers waits wile spending 20 minutes with a single sale. I purchased a filler meal at KFC Louis Trichardt. This was the worst ever KFC product that I have purchased. The peace of chicken was the size of a normal Vienna and did not cover a 3rd of the bread roll.
It was not Finger Lickin Good as advertised.

My complaint is as follow: I live in Bloemfontein for 3 years. On a regular basis I visit KFC Markgraaf Street. 3 out of 4 times a month, my orders is wrong and everytime I promise myself not to support KFC Markgraaf again, but then I try again, hoping the service would be different. Today AGAIN, I stopped counting, my order was wrong again. Had to turn around AGAIN, to sort it out. The manager Edna v. Niekerk was to busy on the phone to attend to me, so a very friendly employee helped me, and appologised. But, I do not need FREE food, people!! I need my orders to be correct!!! I do not stay next to KFC, I stay far away. I cannot turn around everytime. When I do check my food before I go, the employees at the drive through gets irritated. Please do something about your service!

Ek het so pas ‘n Filler geëet wat ek by Boulders in Midrand Gauteng gekoop het en tot my grootste teleurstelling. I bought a Rounder with extra sauce at the long Street branch in Cape Town today at 14h16. The cashiers name is Baxolele. As I have not had a rounder in years I decided to deviate from my regular Streetwise 2 and try a rounder. I was totally disgusted. The chicken was overcooked and very dry. I paid R2 for extra sauce which was not put on. The sauce that was on was barely visible. If the extra sauce was put on it might have disguised the awful taste of the overcooked dry chicken.

Ek het 3 stukke hoender bestel met chips. Sy het ongelooflik lank gevat om bestelling op rekenaar in te lees en toe agter na kombuis geloop om hoender te kry. Het geduldig gestaan en wag. Sy was stadig en het rondgedrentel, nie baie lus vir werk nie. Het opgelet haar kollega by ander betaalpunt was flink en waar sy 3 kliënte gehelp het, het Pricilla 1 gehelp.
Syt my betaling gevat, ekt geteken op strokie met pen wat sy uit haar uniform gegrou het. Syt afskeurstrokie vir my gegee en weer na kombuis toe gedrentel om hoender in te skep.
Syt teruggekom, boksie met 2 stukke hoender voor my geplak en gesê hullet nie nog ekstra stuk nie. Nie “jammer ons het nie nou voorraad nie, is u bereid om te wag nie”. Nee, moet tevrede wees met 2 stukke. Ek sê toe eks bereid om te wag vir die ekstra stuk, ek wil asb 3 hê. Syt boksie toegemaak, eenkant gesit sonder om iets te sê. Daarna het sy verby my gekyk en geskree “Next!”.
Het eenkant staan en wag vir die bestelling. Het geduldig gewag vir 10min. In daardie tyd het ek agtergekom die strokie is nie myne nie. Toe ek nader staan om vir regte strokie te vra, was bestelling gereed. Syt glad nie vir my gekyk nie, moes hard vra of ek asb my regte strokie kan kry. Syt my heeltemal geignoreer en verby my gekyk. Het weer gevra vir strokie net harder, miskien was sy hardhorend? Sy het net gesê hiers jou bestelling en die sak KFC na my gestoot. Het so hulpeloos gevoel want ek was heeltemal aan haar genade oorgelaat, daar was GEEN diens, vriendelike glimlag of gerusstelling. Op daardie stadium wou ek nie die moeite doen om vir bestuurder te vra, ek wou net my hoender hê en loop. Het weer gevra vir regte strokie. Ek moes dit amper skree sodat sy net vir my kon KYK. Het gelyk of sy wakker geskrik het, want sy het baie vinnig regte strokie gesoek en vir my gegee. Syt nie 1 keer om verskoning gevra vir lang wag nie. Ek was baie omgekrap en het KFC gevat en gery. By die huis het ek agtergekom die hoender was nog rou en stukke uitkooksels het aan die kors vasgesit. Ek voel dat hierdie probleem aangespreek moet word aangesien hierdie spesifieke werker gaan veroorsaak dat julle baie kliënte gaan verloor.

good day on friday the 11-12-2009 I took my family to kfc ballito, after i placed my order for the new bonless family pack i was told that i would have to wait about 3 minutes (26minutes later i finally left this pathatic place. Why cant they tell you when you order and pay upfront that there is such a delay. I am now still 4 days later suffering with a running stomach. could it be that the staff spiked my meal? as i told them off.
I lived on the north coast and often get take away for the family. What i have noticed is that ever since Ballito Kfc did its revamp the service has got worse. Is it that the owner has made so much money and is never there any more, cause the staff have a I dont care attitude. I used to work as a manager for Pick n Pay so I know all about good service, currently i am interested in opening my own franchies in a town called shakaskraal on the north coast, please can you let me know how do i go about this, i have a perfect site in a brand new building, very upmarket and a very busy taxi route, would like to go the same way that your kfc in Greytown is.

On 16 December 2009 at +/- 21h00 I bought a honey mustard twister from KFC at OK Centre Gordons’ Bay Road, Strand. By 3h00 on 17 December 2009 I was seriously ill from food poisoning!!!! As it was the only food I had all day it could only have been the twister I bought that made me so ill. This is not the first time that I have been ill from eating something I bought at this paticular KFC but was never 100% sure as I had other food on the same day. This time I am SURE!

We had the misfortune of visiting KFC Galleria Mall, Amamzintoti yesterday. This store is an absolute disgrace tob the KFC Brand. The staff were too busy chatting to each other and doing other things, than serving customers. 45 minutes to get a Milo milkshake.
The staff seemed to have little knowledge of the product, were rude, totally incompetant and generally useless.
Would not recommend this store to anyone and will never go back there

This is to inform you that I, Ameen Syed Mohammad and David D’Souza were at KFC, Quay Street AUCKLAND NEW ZEALAND ,on the 19th of December 2009 around 3:00 pm. We had
ordered 8 chicken pieces along with 2 fries which was $22.50.
When opening the containing packet, To our surprise there was an insect that was in the food!! To our bad luck it flew away. Thankfully there was
another one that was lying dead in the food. We consulted the manager Sabah Moughal regarding this. She offered us a refund or an exchange for the food which
I personally believe is unacceptable.
Consuming this food would probably incur in our demise. We were fortunate enough to notice this or else you would probably read about us in the
obituary column in the newspaper with no one else to blame but you wonderful brand. I would also like to point out that she treated the situation like it
was an everyday event with no remorse.
I am OR rather USED TO BE a great follower of KFC and me and my mates were regular diners at your outlets. After this event I don’t think that we
would ever dine at your outlets and the very thought of eating at KFC now makes me want to purge. I have the receipt of our order as well. We don’t know if
you have security cameras at the branch but if you do you will clearly see us coming back with the order and returning it. Unfortunately we did not want to
create a scene at the moment so we took the replacement and left which I wouldn’t eat even if it was blessed at my holy place.
To top it when we opened the new packet to look at the food I felt like I was in one of the gulf countries with more oil than the food. I seriously
believe that strict action needs to be taken against this and a reasonable compensation needs to be arranged or else we would take serious action. If any of us had to consume this food and died who would be blamed?

On the 21st December 2009 at 11H17 I bought 2 Hawaiin Burgers from KFC Springsgate, Springs, Tel (011) 811 7170.
Both burger’s buns were stale, ( old ) The lettuce on the burgers were brown. I won’t even feed these burgers to my dog.
We contacted them, they were willing to replace the burgers but we stay 20min drive from the KFC.
There should be quality control over food before it is handed to a customer.
That is money down the drain and I will not be buying from that KFC ever again.
I was on holiday in the Natal area and had been looking forward to one of the new Deluxe Shakes and when we stopped at Jozini’s KFC at 8:15am, where we had bought lunch there about ten days ago, they were cleaning their machines. I find this pathetic as it is part of good restaurant managering to have everything ready and sorted by the time the doors open. Well, they lost a customer then.
After travelling 500km on the same day in the stinking heat and stopping at Nelspruit at the KFC at The Grove to find that they do not even offer the Deluxe Shakes!!! Why would a KFC in such a busy center not offer one of the latest items, which have been out for quite a while. I am highly disappointed in KFC’s performance.
I was so looking forward to the milkshake that I decided to try the White River KFC at 4:15pm and thank goodness had them there but had to wait for 45minutes for three shakes!!! It is unbelievable!!!!

Sombody need to take note and give some training on how to do the prep of food at SUNWARD PARK KFC - the chicken looks disgusting - as if it was prepared and cooked, got cold, and when you order, it get dumped into the oil again and served. It is almost burned, soaked in oil, and dried out and stone hard! Do we really need to pay for food like that?
I purchased a Honey & Mustard Twister and a 3 Piece Dinner at the Kentucky Kloof. I am a real lover of this food and was very disappointed. Firstly I requested no tomato on the twister, on arrival at home, the twister had more tomato then chicken strips with just a small amount of honey and mustard right at the end of the twister, what is going on? Further to this my 3 piece dinner looked terrible, knowing the taste I didn’t really let the colour put me off as I was starving, well, the chicken was definately a week old. Very disappointing. I know that KFC is a cheap alternative to a meal, but hell, we need to still get value for our money. I immediately contacted the store manager and advised her of my disappointment. I will never purchase a meal from this franchise again. Someone has to address this store, it is not acceptable to store food let alone sell food of this nature to the public.

I was a hug fan of the zinger chicken and i was crushed to find out that it was no longer on the menu.
the staff informed me that this was a limited edition but this was not indicated anywhere on your advitisments.
i then went to the westridge KFC last week and low and behold they had the zinger chicken.
when i returned last nigh I was told that the zinger chicken was frozen and it is only taken out when all the other chicken is finished.

KFC het die treurigste diens en die kwaliteit van die diep gebraaide hoender is so swak. Ek is gewoond aan die hoe kliente standaarde van 15 jaar terug setredien het die produk so verswak a.g.v. swak opgeleide personeel wat die hoender veels te lank in die olie braai en los dat die lekker van die hoender die deeg wat fingerlek lekker is proe soos vis olie en die hoender word ook nie genoeg gevoor kook sodat die hoender reg deur gaar is nie sies KFC julle is nie meer in gestel op die klient nie net op julle sakke

Today, 03 January 2010 we bought 2 filler meals @ the Vanderbijlpark Branch (we actually wanted honey & mustard twisters, but they were out of stock). So, we’ve decided to try something new then. HUGE dissipointment !!! Buns were old (you almost had to tear the bun & not bite), tomato were OLD - no thank you. Never again are we going to buy this again & we also will not suggest Filler meal to our friends !! Unfortunately we only realised this when we got home!

I am sick and tired of KFC Waterfall (KZN). Not only is the service appaling but the food is disgusting. Ek het gisteraand omstreeks 17:30 ‘n Streetwise Feast 6pce gekoop by KFC Brits. Tuis gekom en om en by 18:00 geeet.
Geen probleem behalwe dat die hoender olierig geproe het. Daar gelaat. Maandag nag het ek en my man aan die braak gegaan van ons aandete. Nie ek of hy het ‘n uur geslaap na omstreeks 23:00 nie. Die toestand het vererger, diaree het gevolg. Ek het vandag doktor toe gegaan net om te hoor ek het voedsel vergiftiging. Die mediese kostes beloop byna R 700 vir ‘n maaltyd van R 84. Hoe vergelyk jy dit? Ek en my man is vir goed genees van KFC. Nooit weer nie. Die slaai het nie ‘n vervaldatum opgehad nie, ook nie die mash & gravy of die Broodjies nie. On 2nd Jan 2010, I decided to treat the family to Kentuck. We support the Sarnia branch in Durban. The service was shocking and the chicken overcooked in very old oil. The twisters were not ediable and the chips were thrown away. the only thing that was ok was the burger. The service was extemely unfriendly - I will now support Nando accross the road.

Today I purchased 2 Filler Meals at Rosmead Avenue branch. These were a total let down since for me this was a new menu line. This I say for the following reasons:
1. The bread rolls of these 2 filler meals were dry, crummy - one was actually broken, and they just looked very unattractive in comparison to the photo on the display advert. My thinking is that these rolls were still of last year purchases.
2. The manager defended the fact by saying it might have been over heated in the preparation, but they were both ice cold, and so was the chips which are part of the meal.
3. The chicken on the roll was not the fillet which I asumed from the advert, but stripps which were cold and sparsely placed on the roll.
4. A compliment to KFC training, since managers are very apt at making the needed apology when they detect the need for same, and then to offer a complimetary meal in place.
Though I think that this is a feit a compli, managers make it seem as if they are doing you a favour. However, I do not think that every one who lodge a complaint simply do so in order to obtain a “freeby”, since this is most certainly not my intention. To the contrary, I do so to to vent my dissatisfaction for the bad product or service delivery for which I pay, and certainly hope that managers will do something to speed up that which they so glossarily display and advertise.
KFC stores are most certainly getting worse by the day in terms of their quality and standard of delivery. What amazes me is the fact that we actually go back for more of the same if not worse, gluttons for punishment. There seem to exist a mentality that we are receiving a favour instead of the sale of services and produce, for which we pay dearly. This meal cost R48.50? and if my wife and I went and sat down at a restaurant, we could have a well prepared and served meal for the same if not less.

Dis alles behalwe die diens wat KFC se minimum dienslewering vereis.

On Friday I bought Kentucky from the Drive-Thru, Queenstown. The food was disgusting. The rolls were at least a week old and the chicken was very over done.
When this shop first opened I bought and the food and service was terrible, but gave them the benefit of the doubt… New shop etc etc.
The day before Christmas i bought again - again disgusting food! I thought shame, busy period etc etc…..
And now on the third try - I will never buy from them again.

Last night (Friday 15th) we bought Kentucky from the Beacon Bay Branch in East London….. I must say it was absolutely disgusting…… The meat was so dried out inside because it had been overcooked!!! The chicken skin was so hard on the outside.You could almost not bite through it , it was that crunchy!!! You know take aways are not cheap anymore(especially when you are a pensioner) so if you are going to run a franchise in Beacon Bay and expect to keep your clients coming back again…. I am terribly disgusted in KFC Kempton Park last week I went there to buy 2 kiddies meals (With Toys) and a 8 Piece Streetwise feast with mash and gravy on the side. When I got home I got 2 chicken burgers with chips with no toys and a 6 piece street wise feast with gravy and breadrolls. (Not what I asked for). Last night I went back and ordered a 6 piece streetwise feast with 2 mash and gravies (With my previous experience I checked my order) and with no surprise I got 2 gravies and rolls (Not what I ordered) when I asked them that this was not my ordered the MANAGER (David) informed me that this was the side orders on which I replied that I did not order gravy but I ordered mash and gravy to which he replied that this is what it is (COCKY) I told him that I am going to throw this gravy at him because this is not what I Fu*&(&(nd ordered. to which he after a big fight gave me my mash and gravy, (Don’t you train your staff to listen to customers I did not want the gravy I ordered Mash and gravy (For which I paid) and still they ignored me. Okay. I love KFC, I have never had a major, catastrophic issue with them, bar one. as with any fast food chain, one should automatically expect service to suck. lets face it, we have all watched those pathetic american films where one of the greasy kids works as the fat collector or “fry Manager” at a fast food outlet. its gross. Its horrible work, and this naturally, though unfortunatly for us the customer, leads to crappy service. I got milkshake this weekend, for example. My drive through lady forgot one milkshake because she is just so brilliantly capable of multi-tasking that she could talk to her eight friends, MXIT her boyfriend, file her nails and still place my orders. then when i got the window to collect it, and found out that one milkshake was missing, it took them a wonderful twenty minutes to find the manager, and of course i had twenty minutes to sit by the drive through window. In honesty I will always like KFC. I a not a fussy person, just demand that people return what i give them. I give them my time, money and patronage, therefore I’d like something in return, but as many of you have said, we just aren’t getting it anymore. The head office number is 010 001 7100 for those who want it. But remember, if you want better service, go to a better restaurant.

Why can’t KFC get ropes for customer controll. There are no demarcated areas and everybody just presses in. If a first world company like Macdonalds can have it why can’t KFC. Reading all of the above, surely we all have the choice from where we want to buy take aways. Let me give you my problem and I really hope that you would look into this and give me a satisfactory reply herein.
On Wednesday, 20 January 2010, at the Duiwelskloof or as it is now known as Modjadjiskloof outlet, I pruchased 2 Honey and Mustard Twisters, as you call it, upsized. We were given the 2 twisters with a packet of chips and 2 tins of cooldrink and we paid R73.80. The server’s name was Angelina. As we worked late on Thursday 21 January 2010 we ordered, from the same outlet, the same food. This is what we got, first of all a very unpleasant and unfriendly woman, to eat we got 2 twisters, packet of chips and 2 half liters of cooldrink for R79.80. The server’s name was Doris. I have in my possession the 2 receipts for the 2 days. Could you please explain how this can happen, within a matter of 24 hours, the price increased by R6.00 and why the difference in the cooldrink. I will most certainly not buy food from this outlet ever again.

Ek koop gereeld hoender by KFC in die mall in vanderbijlpark. Het toe nou al 2 keer by KFC in die dorp gaan koop. Baie ontevrede. Die 1ste keer het ek ‘n bucket vol hoender gekry wat my mond gebrand het. Die keer was die hoender uitgedroog en onsmaaklik en die skyfies was so hard nie eens my hondjies kon dit kou nie. In die vervolg sal ek maar my eie hoender maak en nie weer geld in die water gooi om by KFC te gaan koop nie. Ek was baie teleurgesteld.

Friday evening 22 January 2010 round about 22h00 we went to the KFC in Cliff Ave in Waterkloof Ridge where we ordered a 6 piece Build your Feast with an ADD a Streetwise Side, which contains 2 Mash and Gravy, a Streetwise 2 with Mash and Gravy with an additional piece of chicken, 1 Burger Meal and a Streetwise 3 piece. After placing the order in the Drive Thru and paying for the order we were told that the meal will only be ready in about 18 minutes. We accepted and went to the BP Garage where we bought some cold drinks and sweets. On retuning at KFC we were told they don’t have Mash and Gravy ready for our order would we rather take chips instead which we declined, after some arguing with the “Floor Manager” we realised that we were not going to get anywhere and surely not going to get our money back. We phoned the “complaints” number for this specific KFC branch a person by the name of Paul Roos 083 564 7342 which didn’t answer his phone.
On arriving at home some of the so-called chips in exchange for the Mash and Gravy wasn’t in the bag and only 2 of the 3 mini loafs with the ADD a Streetwise Side. We then phoned the “complaints” number again and again he didn’t answer, he returned the missed calls at 22h35, he enquired about our problem and promised to get back to us, this is 4 days later and still no word from him or KFC. I really think KFC’s service sucks and with the 2010 World Cup on its way I would think that their service would have been improved.
This was not the first incident of this sort at this KFC in Cliff Ave in Waterkloof Ridge, your order is always short or wrong when using the Drive Thru. This is theft.

last night 26/01/2010 on the way home , my wife and i decided to get some KFC…now…i normaly buy from the KFC near my home… this time round the food was horrid… the oil completly saturated the boxes and turned the skin into mush… the mash and gravy tasted burnt some how… the zinger wings were hard, dry and stale….my wife’s pineapple and cheese rounder was like slop in the box… sorry KFC…but this is unacceptable…. times are tough but people still spend their hard earned cash on treating their families… to recieve food like that is disgusting. my R500 a month can rather go to home cooked food supplies. at least my dogs seemed to enjoy it.

It is unreal how the KFC at the Pavillion is still open. Are ther no QC checks been made at that KFC. I went there last week Friday and there was no long line, but there was no chicken ready. I finally got my order and took it home. Too my surprise the chicken looked like it was fried in old oil. There was not even enough of coating on the chicken. There was no way I was driving back to Pavillion so had to make do with what I had. This is not the first time that I have had an experience with the Pavillion KFC, the last time they gave me green buns. I do not understand why no checks are done. People keep on writing in about the episodes but nothing seems to be done about it.

Today I bought a Sweet and Sour Twister, a Colonel Burger, a large coleslaw and 4 x Street wise 2’s. The Chips was hardly worth it. Only about 12 chips in each little packet even though the packet was “little” there was much space over more than half the packet was empty. Also, the coleslaw was dry with no mayonanaise. Very disappointing purchase.

I am very upset as we ordered the 8 peices of chicken with three mini loaves, chips and then I ordered a mash and gravy and cold slaw separate with a kiddies meal. Hallo daar. Ek weier nou al vir jare om KFC se gewone hoender te eet, want dis al lankal nie meer goeie kwaliteit nie. Al wat ek nou nog daar koop(Wanneer ek dit waag), is die Double Crunch Meal of ‘n Twister meal. My gunsteling is die Box Master meal. Maar vandat die zinger weegawe uitgekom het, het ek heeltyd probleme. Ek se altyd vir die mense by die bestelpunte om nie vir my zinger fillet in die boxmaster te sit nie, maar die gewone een. Nog net EENKEER het hulle dit reggehad. Ek het wel nog nie baie probleme met KFC gehad nie, maar die probleme wat ek al gehad het, is erg genoeg. Ek hoor maar baie by vriende en familie en kollegas watter probleme hulle ook het. En nou die mense hier bo. Hulle diens is verseker besig om agteruit te gaan en ook die kwaliteit van die kos. Dis ‘n skande. Ek se vir julle, as die Colonel hierdie emails moes lees of weet wat met Suid-Afrika se KFC’s aangaan, draai hy in sy graf om. KFC verdien nie meer ‘n plek in Suid-Afrika nie. Hulle is windgat, want hulle dink hulle is die beste. Maar Steers is beslis die plek wat ek enige tyd sal gaan en hulle kwaliteit gaan nie agteruit nie en hulle diens is goed. En die kos is altyd lekker. Om eerlik te wees, is al die ander Fast Food plekke beter as KFC deesdae.
Ek dink werklik hulle moet maar die takke oral in Suid-Afrika toemaak voordat hulle bankrot speel. En glo my, as KFC so aangaan, SAL hulle kliente verloor en geld daarmee saam. Ek is ook nie fussy nie, maar werklik, wanneer dit aan en aan gaan, dan raak mens gatvol.

I was so disappointed as I was looking forward to the very tasty deluxe shake only to find out that the Malvern branch did not have the necessities to make this. I thought I’d try my luck with a different branch (Shallcross, Durban). They had sold to me what tasted like an ordinary chocolate milk shake with milo bits in it. I guarentee you this is not what I had expected as I did taste the deluxe shake a few times before. Does KFC not have training for new and existing staff when new recipes are released??? Please can I get some feed back on this as I wouldn’t want to experience these problems at a Kfc again!

Hi, I have always enjoyed buying from KFC Eshowe branch. The staff have always been friendly and we have never had to wait for our orders. But my complaint is that on two occasions we have bought the kiddies meals for our kids but there have been no toys with the orders. The toys are what the kids actually look forward to, but they were out of stock. I think that we should be informed before purchasing that there is no stock or maybe the toy could be substituted with a sweet or something else. Also the ice-cream is finished most of the time. I am a single mom and in these times it is soooo hard to be buying take aways….. nevertheless i decided to surprise my 9 year old with KFC (we usually treat ourselves once a month with takeaways)….So we went to the KFC Paradise Junction…. all smiles we got home to tuck into streetwise burger and our 2 piece meal….i was sooooo disappointed…. the pieces of chicken were so dry and the coleslaw was the worst ever and the chips tasted like it was fried in the morning….you could even count the number of chips in the box….I really was disappointed and have to wait another month to be able to buy takeaways again… but it wont be KFC for sure…..

We have two KFC’s. I don’t mind if there is no ice-cream or machines are broken, BUT PLEASE INSTALL AN ELECTRONIC NOTICE BOARD STATING THE PROBLEMS YOU HAVE. It is so annoying to sit in a queue for half a hour at each KFC, to be told their excuse. I think after all these years you could afford it.

This is the last straw, NO more KFC for this family. For the third time in as many months we have been short supplied on three streetwise two’s with extra pieces from KFC, De Nova in Mossel Bay.
When I phoned the manager there was no apology she seemed bemused at my anger and frustration of driving 13km to get KFC and returning 13km’s to find that we have been short supplied. Her reply was can’t I come baxck & fetch the extra pieces, WTF.

rounder as dry as all hell - the roll was old and falling apart the fillet was dry and old there was not enough dressing on the rounder - in other words it was really crap. I arrived home from work (Ellisras) at 21h05 and decided to have KFC for supper. I used the drive-thru at the PRIMROSE KFC, placed my order at the order point and proceeded to the collection/pay point. There I was told that I would have to wait for 20 minutes as there was cooked chicken and I said there was no problem. After 20 minutes the chicken was not ready and customers behind me were getting irate. I asked to see the manager but was unsucessful. To crown it all, I noticed that the one worker sticking her hands in the freshly baked chip to dish them up. What a disgrace, now everyone that reads this will wonder how their food is handled behind the counter. My order arrived shortly afterwards I had a shouting match. The chips that I received were not from those that were touched, not sure where they came from, cold and old. I will not be buying from the PRIMROSE KFC again. Its become a SLUM!!! Yes, I would like to know whats going on in your KFC in Uitenhage. The service sucks. You know on the 26th of January 2010 we did buy a Bucket (21 Piece). Got home just to discovered 18 pieces,but pay R164 for 21 pieces. I thought “o well any one can make a mistake and see it over”. The 6th of February we did go and buy a bucket again,and this time get at least 19 pieces, thought to myself that people cant count at all,or do they eat the pieces you pay for ,but do not get it ? Now on the 5 March we go and but that R102 special with the 8 pieces of chicken,that 6 dipped bites ,salads and chips. I also bought extra a street wise 5 for R48.95. plus two of the small breads and a gravy. Cost mme all together R165,50. When we get home,and all eager to eat,what a suprise,no street wise 5,only one salad where there is suppose to be 2 salads,and no bread. So why did I pay so much? When we fone them to complain, because I want what is mine , I paid for it. They just said mam you was suppose to check your stuff before leaving. Why? They packed it ,they gave it to me, and said thank you. I did ask if they were sure everything is there and the woman did say yes. What now,they said sorry mam,you could have ate it up and now you foned and ask for more. I was so crossed,never ever in my life will I ever buy KFC again. Yes and is also busy to write my piece for the papers. Im sick and tiered of the service we get from them. Im not a thief,but they can do and make as thy are pleased. die KFC Kabega Park in Port Elizabeth is pateties - daar is nie `n beskrywing vir die diens wat mens daar ontvang nie die bestuur op diens was nie beskikbaar nie - die mense wat daar werk het geensin belangestel om ons te help nie - na ons hulle gebel het om te hoor of hulle hoender het en hoelaat hulle toemaak - die voorval het vrydag 12 Maart 2010 19h30 plaasgevind na ons van Plettenberg Baai gereis het en moeg en honger daar aangekom het , om sulke slegte diens te kry. Die dame was te besig om op te ruim en die ander een te besig met voorraad opname en die res van die mense was nie eens te siene nie - daar was hoender en chips klaar voorberei , maar daar was geen hoender beskikbaar nie - dit na ons 10min gwag het dat iemand ons moes help - dit was die antwoord sorry daar is nie hoender nie en sy het net omgedraai en geloop!! Ek dink dit is pateties ek weet die mense het moeg maar hulle word betaal om `n diens te lewer en verder hoe gaan hulle die mense met die sokker wereld beker - behandel as hulle ons so behandel!!

KFC Halifax (Piet Retief 2) has been advertising a competition where you receive a card with every Chicky Meal purchased. Those cards are STILL not available. The woman on drive-through duty (who, of course, can’t even speak decent English) wasn’t even aware of a competition running. She called the manager who laughed and just said “Sorry baba - no card”
I wanted to return the Chicky Meal, since it was bought because of the advertised competition, and again “Sorry baba - no returns” I haven’t even left the drive-through window… And what the hell happened to “SIR” in this country? No - KFC Piet Retief (both of them) are pathetic establishments who will never see me again. They will join Wimpy in my no-go list…
